Beautiful traditional riad. My room was quite the fantasy. Some very eclectic artwork & furnishings. Good rooftop view. Good breakfast with eggs, fruit & fresh orange juice as well as cheese, bread & pastries. Fairly easy to find & very easy to negotiate your way out of the medina. Excellent shower. Mint tea & lovely pastries served on arrival.

My arrival was unfortunately marred by a fairly forceful demand for a cash 15 Euros cleaning fee which was clearly already paid for & documented in my booking. Rachid insisted I pay again & contact Booking.com to sort this out myself. I insisted he contact Booking.com which he eventually did & I was proved correct. This was all a bit much after a late arrival due to an exhausting 3 hour airport immigration queue. The room was lacking in natural light & one night was very noisy with disturbances from the alley below. The less elaborate rooftop rooms have more natural light & are possibly quieter.

Wonderful hospitality and kind hosts! Lovely breakfast, beautiful room, and overall an excellent stay.

Everything was great at the riad! The only issue is with Google Maps, which shows the wrong location.

If you want a location in the medina this is perfect- restaurants, cafes and places to visit aplenty. The Riad is authentic and unpretentious- like the host , Rachid, who will go out of his way to ensure you are looked after. He is sincere, knowledgeable and kind hearted, and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed a great stay. We were in the budget double, cute and cosy with roof terrace and cityscape views. Breakfasts were good with some variety, and it was nice to meet other guests over coffee and croissant. We hope to return...

    All good...

Location was initially very hard to find and we could not get a taxi that could get us nearby. Once we got to talk to Rashid he helped us to get around. In the end location inside of the Medina was convenient enough

Read smelled like cat urine. There was no trash basket in the room until our last day and so we used our own trash bag. We should have asked for one but it was just as easy to use our bag but I would have expected at least 1 trash basket. Toilet did not flush completely so we had to get Rashid in to fix it. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. Room was very dark and poorly lit. We could hear Rashad’s children at night after 9:00 when we were ready to sleep.

We had two rooms so I believe I wrote a review already... this riad was very well located, right next door to the American Legation and all the stores, restaurants and sites around the old city, as well as easy reach to the bay and the new city. The owners were extremely nice and helpful in every way. Breakfast was great and the rooftop terrace was wonderful with a great view. The room and the whole place was filled with antiques and designer touches--really beautiful.

I was a little uncomfortable in the narrow alleys of the medina at night...not a lot of people around...but, I had no reason to believe it was unsafe and the riad is very close to the populated areas so easy and quick to get to.

The breakfast was excellent--a variety of breads, eggs, fruit, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The Riad was beautiful--designer touches-- and the room comfortable, with a warm blanket, water, table and sitting area. The rooftop terrace was really nice--lovely view and lots of comfortable seating. Rashid and his delightful children couldn't have been more friendly and helpful...arranged a taxi to Cap Spartel, recommended restaurants, did laundry for me and my son, and carried my heavy bags to the taxi stand when I left.

There is some noise from the street in the evening but with earplugs we were fine and it stops by 11 or 12. We had trouble finding it at first but my son corrected the location on Google maps so now you should be able to find it...it's just inside the medina, very close to the American Legation.

The riad was beautiful, I loved the interior decoration, very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Rachid made us feel at home. I love that the riad has a beautiful terrace with a nice view and there are beds and chair to relax. The location is excellent very close to the city and all the restaurants. The place is very looked after and always kept well cleaned. Rachid have us a lot of advice and recommendations about places to visit and restaurants.

The riad was stunning, and I really enjoyed the traditional Moroccan decoration. The rooftop was lovely too, with a beautiful view. My room had everything I needed, and the hosts were always available if I required anything. The location of the riad was perfect, as everything was within walking distance—cafes, restaurants, shops, and the beach. Thank you to Rachid and his lovely family, who made me feel so comfortable and welcome in their riad. It was my first time traveling alone, so I was a bit worried, but Rachid and his family treated me like their daughter. They always checked on me, advised me on places to eat, and gave me lots of tips. Rachid even picked me up when I got lost! They were extremely kind and fantastic hosts. I felt very welcome and was very happy throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend this beautiful riad to anyone looking to stay in the old medina of Tanger.

    Nothing negative, everything was perfect.

This was honestly one of the most special finds, an incredibly beautiful space with a mix of Moroccan and French inspired decor. Rashid and all his family were so kind, generous and welcoming. The terrace was beautiful and in a quiet location within the medina.
