The place is a the edge of the medina. You have to walk through the narrow streets for about 50 meters from parking to hotel. You have to call them or ask any person nearby, because you will never find it. Hotel is a surprise, beautiful decoration, super nice staff, room is nice with enough space for the motorbike gear. People in area are friendly and it is very safe, lots of good restaurants nearby, serving drinks.. Perfect spot for visiting Fez. But you have to be OK with all the walking.

Unfortunately payment is only via cash but again the hosts are very accommodating and kind.

Location was excellent. Edge of the medina and easily accessible. Close to a safe and secure parking lot if you're driving in. Our hosts, Mahmood and Sarah were extremely helpful! They were on hand to help us find the hotel when we first arrived and guided us through the bazaar looking for a specific item and always ready to answer all our questions. Rooms were clean and done up well, and breakfast was simple but wholesome.

Our stay here was fantastic. The riad itself is stunning inside with a lovely rooftop area looking over the old town. Mahmoud and the other staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We were travelling by bicycle and we could store our bikes inside the riad which was brilliant. Highly recommend a stay here and if we ever come back to Fes we would definitely stay here again.

The toilets smelt, could be cleaner.

Mehmoud was exceptional, he went out of his way quite a few times to help us find places and even gave us early breakfast the day we were leaving. The riad is a 15-20 walk from the main tourist attractions

The toilet was dirty, it could have been cleaned better, however other than that everything was amazing.

The place was super super beautiful, we had an amazing stay. The host was really friendly and he took us to eat at the restaurant when we arrived late at night. Would totally recommend!!

Considering Fes is known for its perfumes, creams, lotions, and argan oil, it would have been a lovely touch to have higher-quality toiletries in the bathroom.

Thanks to Mamoud for such a warm welcome at the Riad. He really went out of his way to help us feel at home during our stay. The room was comfortable, the bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

I had an exceptional stay at Riad Dar Kassim. Thanks to the amazing staff, especially Mahmoud, from the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His warm demeanor and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as a guest. Whether it was sightseeing and café suggestions or promptly addressing any questions or wishes we had, Mahmoud was always professional and personable. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about creating such a welcoming experience, and his efforts didn’t go unnoticed. This stay was unforgettable, and I hope to return soon!

The staff were amazing! Special thanks to Mahmoud for always answering our questions and he helped us find a guide for the tannery. The riad had great staff, breakfast, clean and comfy rooms and nice view from the rooftop. It was very beautiful and i cant stop being amazed by the patterns everywhere. They would always change the towels and clean the room. We love everything about the riad!

The only thing I would impove is the lighting in the room. Sometimes it felt a bit dark if you needed to search for something in your luggage for example. Other than that it was just perfect!

Need to ring the door to enter so if you're coming and going multiple times per day then you feel like a nuisance as someone must let you in. While the Riad is in the quieter area of the Medina, there's still lots of noise from the alley should your window face it (cats fighting, dogs barking, roosters, etc). Occasionally heard other guests. Stairs are narrow and many so could be an issue for those with mobility issues. Need to pay cash.

Location was perfect - in the Medina but on the quit side of things. Breakfast was good. Loved the interior as it was typical Moroccan. Patio is a great place for breakfast and views. All staff are very friendly.

No major complaints. Bathroom needed some dusting and was a little cramped but room was comfortable and cool.

Staff fantastic, family run, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast good. Dinner provided at request and staff bent over backwards for us given prayers and ramadan to make sure we still ate. Good location. Very kind owner who provided us with bottles of water as we left.
