The room we slept in has bathroom not separated by the bedroom and during the night if there are water drops from wc, shower or sink (as it happened) they are hearable from the bed.

Everything excellent! Position, kindness and helpfulness of the lady at the reception, very nice Riad.

There is nothing to dislike about this wonberful Riad.

Saeed is very welcoming upon arrival and extremly helpful regarding travel. things to do and where to visit in Rabat. The staff are very accomadating. We had an early flight and they served us breakfast before the officilal start time. It is a straight 15min walk to this magical Riad from the main train station Gare Rabat Ville where the bus from the airport stops. No disappointments here. . . Shkraan jzylaan to all at Riad dar Soufa.

Due to the antique doors and locks, it was difficult for the doors to remain closed and hard for us to figure out the lock. Might be an issue for other guests moving forward.

Great location. Breakfast offered and was good. Very nice staff. Nice terrace. Offered salon with coffee and tea.

    Everything was perfect.

Riad was beautiful and spatious. Room was super comfortable and quite big. Services were perfect. Staff was increadibly nice and caring. We had a problem on the road on our way there and they were quite understanding. They made our life easier. They were very welcoming and they explained us all about the main attractions to visit in the city, as well as to get there. Location is good and very easy to get there. They were also very detailled on giving us instructions on how to get there and how to park nearby.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Riad Dar Soufa. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The riad itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and tasteful Moroccan decor that really adds to the charm. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is right in the medina, yet very quiet at night. It was easy to explore the main attractions of Rabat on foot. Breakfast was one of the highlights — generous, fresh, and delicious, served with care on the rooftop terrace. It was a lovely way to start each day. Overall, Riad Dar Soufa exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rabat.

We were met from the taxi with balloons (we’d recently married) and accompanied to the Riad where we were welcomed with typical Moroccan tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Location was great, up a quiet lane in the Medina and within walking distance of the train station and the seaside. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit and yogurt, squeezed juice, varied offerings of breads pancakes and croissants. Staff were very pleasant and most helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend 😊

The bathroom was next to the reception only separated with a thin wooden door, which made it uncomfortable to use the bathroom in the morning while other residents were having breakfast in the lobby.

Riad Dar Soufa is a marvellous Riad in the centre of Rabat. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt very welcomed. The breakfast was extraordinarily delicious! We would recommend it very much!

Only downside was the cock crowing nearby throughout night, which kept us awake. Not much that Riad could do about that though.

The bathroom is divided from the main room by a heavy curtain. It rained heavily on one day and the inner patio became wet and slippery, despite a covering.

They provided the best breakfast of our stay. It was plentiful, different every day but always included fresh fruit, yoghurt, freshly pressed orange juice, tea/coffee, variety of bread/pancakes, honey, olives etc. They had the best tea and welcome biscuits of our Moroccan journey! There is a lovely roof terrace. Our room was very comfortable. In all respects, the staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was excepcional! Fit for a king. You would pay around 25€ in Madrid for this type of breakfast/brunch and we had it included for each of our 3 mornings. The staff were very helpful - Siad with his dry wit and charm and Fahma with her excellent English.

The only challenge was reaching the riad, as cars are not allowed inside the Medina, meaning we had to walk quite a bit on cobbled streets with our luggage. However, the overall experience, warm hospitality, and unique charm of the riad made it well worth it.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Riad Dar Soufa in December 2024. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful, arranging a cab from Casablanca airport and providing excellent tips on exploring Rabat. Their recommendation for a traditional Moroccan Hammam was a highlight of our trip—an unforgettable experience! The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh and tasty items to start the day. The riad’s location is perfect—you step right into the vibrant Medina, making it easy to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
