Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe room we slept in has bathroom not separated by the bedroom and during the night if there are water drops from wc, shower or sink (as it happened) they are hearable from the bed.
Everything excellent! Position, kindness and helpfulness of the lady at the reception, very nice Riad.

IrelandThere is nothing to dislike about this wonberful Riad.
Saeed is very welcoming upon arrival and extremly helpful regarding travel. things to do and where to visit in Rabat. The staff are very accomadating. We had an early flight and they served us breakfast before the officilal start time. It is a straight 15min walk to this magical Riad from the main train station Gare Rabat Ville where the bus from the airport stops. No disappointments here. . . United StatesDue to the antique doors and locks, it was difficult for the doors to remain closed and hard for us to figure out the lock. Might be an issue for other guests moving forward.

PortugalEverything was perfect.
Riad was beautiful and spatious. Room was super comfortable and quite big. Services were perfect. Staff was increadibly nice and caring. We had a problem on the road on our way there and they were quite understanding. They made our life easier. They were very welcoming and they explained us all about the main attractions to visit in the city, as well as to get there. Location is good and very easy to get there. They were also very detailled on giving us instructions on how to get there and how to park nearby.

EgyptI had a truly wonderful stay at Riad Dar Soufa. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The riad itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and tasteful Moroccan decor that really adds to the charm. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is right in the medina, yet very quiet at night. It was easy to explore the main attractions of Rabat on foot. Breakfast was one of the highlights — generous, fresh, and delicious, served with care on the rooftop terrace. It was a lovely way to start each day. Overall, Riad Dar Soufa exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rabat.

IrelandWe were met from the taxi with balloons (we’d recently married) and accompanied to the Riad where we were welcomed with typical Moroccan tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Location was great, up a quiet lane in the Medina and within walking distance of the train station and the seaside. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit and yogurt, squeezed juice, varied offerings of breads pancakes and croissants. Staff were very pleasant and most helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend 😊

GermanyThe bathroom is divided from the main room by a heavy curtain. It rained heavily on one day and the inner patio became wet and slippery, despite a covering.
They provided the best breakfast of our stay. It was plentiful, different every day but always included fresh fruit, yoghurt, freshly pressed orange juice, tea/coffee, variety of bread/pancakes, honey, olives etc. They had the best tea and welcome biscuits of our Moroccan journey! There is a lovely roof terrace. Our room was very comfortable. In all respects, the staff were very helpful.

United StatesThe only challenge was reaching the riad, as cars are not allowed inside the Medina, meaning we had to walk quite a bit on cobbled streets with our luggage. However, the overall experience, warm hospitality, and unique charm of the riad made it well worth it.
We had a wonderful one-night stay at Riad Dar Soufa in December 2024. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful, arranging a cab from Casablanca airport and providing excellent tips on exploring Rabat. Their recommendation for a traditional Moroccan Hammam was a highlight of our trip—an unforgettable experience! The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh and tasty items to start the day. The riad’s location is perfect—you step right into the vibrant Medina, making it easy to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
