Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Ashraf, our Riad manager is the most wonderful host. Generous, kind, helpful and so professional. Because of him our family had a wonderful experience in this most beautiful and authentic Marrakech Riad. The warmth and kindness of Ashraf made Marrakesh feel like home. This Riad was recommended to me by a friend and may I recommend to all. Thank-you so much Ashraf. I hope we can come again someday, inshallah. Renee & family

DenmarkWe had an absolutely lovely stay at this hotel. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, it felt like a peaceful oasis – calm, quiet, and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the lively streets of the medina. Our host, Anas, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly helpful in so many ways – not only as a great fixer who could help with anything we needed, but also as a genuinely kind and caring person. When my partner and I fell ill during our stay, Anas went above and beyond to assist us, and we’re so grateful for his support. Highly recommended – we would absolutely stay here again!

United StatesThe staff was outstanding. They welcomed me like family and went out of their way to help.me get the most out of my short stay. Entering the Riad is like stepping back in time with its enclosed courtyard and water feature. The location was convenient with restaurants, shops, and tourist sites nearby.

PakistanLocation was perfect. Just next to bahia and walking distance from badi and tombs. Jem al fana main square, secret garden and madrassa were also 20-30 min walk. Very traditional and cozy place with plenty of small and beautiful sitting corners. If you want to spend some time inside (due to hot weather) you will enjoy these cozy spaces. Rooftop sitting area was nice to enjoy sunset and night view. Good breakfast. Staff was really nice. Anas and ashraf received me and guided me through all important places to go along with map. They helped me with figuring out early morning taxi as well. Highly recommended place.

United KingdomThe riad pool is only decorative. Very pretty but no swimming.
Perfect place for visiting Marrakech! Amazing riad, well designed, well furnished, kept very clean and inviting. I've stayed in perhaps most modest room they have and it had Hilton quality bed, I swear! No problems with the water pressure at the shower, lovely towels and 2500W hairdryer, a bathroom to make a girl very happy. I booked Riad Dar Naomi because of Bahia Palace nearby and a walking distance to tourist places and have discovered a gem. Easy to find, easy to get to by taxi, zero of usual Marrakech stress of navigating confusing souks' streets. Great food and excellent hammam in the vicinity. And the staff! The team at the riad is marvelous and makes your stay perfect! Nothing is a problem for these guys: dietary requirements, delayed guests/luggage, flu, taxi, too much artisan shopping, they have it all under control. I will be back.

When they got to know it was my birthday on the 9th of April, they made me a surprise cake with candles and a beautiful rendition of the song- happy birthday to you . Thank you for such a memorable time which I’ll cherish forever and like I said , I’ll be back for Christmas. Keep up being the genuine , selfless and rare souls that you are . United KingdomAnass and Ashraf were very accommodating and extremely helpful! The location is right by the palace, it is down a narrow alleyway but very safe in the day (I didn’t walk at night) they helped me with my transfer, and have their number in case I ever got lost! The most beautiful riad with gorgeous rooms and rooftops, I’d highly recommend a great location!!

United KingdomWe were welcomed with open arms and felt instantly at home. Such a glorious building, celebrating the beauty of Marrakech. We loved being able to pick a time for breakfast, and felt like such a great start before a day of exploring. We loved all of the advice on what to do we were provided with on arrival. Every member of staff was so very kind, and made the stay so special. The roof terrace (home to friendly tortoises) and the seating areas around the Riad, provided such calm places to sit and plan for the day or read.

United KingdomThe riad is absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend choosing a riad as your accommodation to truly experience and immerse yourself in the local culture. The attention to detail in the decor is stunning, and it creates a warm, homely atmosphere. Both Achcaf and Anass are incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived quite late, Achcaf took the time to go over the map with us and explained the various attractions we could visit. Thanks to Anass, we learned that we should arrive earlier at the airport than usual, as passport checks take longer. He even offered to print our boarding passes for us, as we were flying with EasyJet, and printing them in advance is required to avoid additional charges at the airport. Both of them were exceptional, friendly, and made our stay truly memorable.

United KingdomNoise travels very easily between guests’ rooms, as there are only thin wooden doors. We knew this from previous reviews so it doesn’t detract from our review, but if you’re a light sleeper then perhaps think about earplugs.
The Riad is in a great location and was beautifully presented. We appreciated the attentiveness of all the staff who made us feel exceptionally welcome. We ate dinner at the Riad twice because of how nice the food was.

I stayed in the Palmerie room on the top floor, I really liked the privacy of the room and the atmosphere / vibes of the room (decoration). It was Ramadan during my stay, but Ashraf gave a very warm welcome at my arrival with a cup of mint tea and local cookies. He was always very helpful whenever I asked any questions about Marrakesh or the local culture / customs. I would return to this riad anytime.

United KingdomWe wouldn’t recommend the hammam that the hotel recommended. It was ok but not great value for money and not particularly nice or friendly. But this isn’t about the riad, just the connected hammam.
The riad was so peaceful, and we really liked the location. There are lots of places to relax inside the riad which we loved. The staff were amazing, so warm and kind. We had a meal at the riad one night, it was delicious but more expensive than we would have expected so just double check prices. Achraf was wonderful, so friendly and always available.

IrelandOur hosts Anass and Achraf could not have been more attentive and helpful. From the excellent communication before we left home, organising transport and greeting us on arrival - nothing was too much. Breakfast was served at a time of our choosing and included pancakes, traditional Moroccan breads, fresh fruit, mint tea and coffee. The ladies at the Riad presented everything so beautifully. The location of the Riad is fantastic and within walking distance of everything that we wanted to visit within the walls of the old city. It is a perfect retreat to return to after a day in the souks and exploring. Highly recommend this gem. Thank you to everybody at Riad dar Naomi for the wonderful experience and making our stay with you so memorable.
