Location is great, don't trust Google maps though! We don't usually leave reviews. However had such a great stay at Riad Dar Les Freres that I wanted to specifically mention Hamza and Samira, they were both so kind, helpful and gracious and made the stay memorable, from meeting us in the square to helping with excursions (even giving us a packed breakfast for an early morning trip) to walking us to the square on our final day. During our time in Marrakesh, we found the people to be warm and welcoming but none more so than Hamza and Samira. Cannot recommend them or the riad highly enough. Thank you.

The host was very supporting in helping us finding the location due to confusing Google Maps instructions. He also printed out our boarding passes and packed our breakfast for an early morning leaving. Room was minimal but spacious and clean. The riad is in the heart of the Medina, close to the main square. Highly recommended.

The room we got was big, clean and comfortable. It had working AC and a vault for valuables. We got all the essentials and bathroom was also very nice and clean. The staff is worth to be mentioned as they are very nice, caring for the guests and really helpful. They helped us a lot and cared when we had small health issues. Breakfast on roof was also delicious. There is literally nothing we can complain about! It was the best Riad throug whole jurney in Maroko. If I ever was in Marrakesh agian I would pick again this place :)

The dar was simple, but you find here everything needed to get the peace from bustling centre of Marrakech. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything needed for few days of stay. The terrace was a bonus too and the traditional breakfast was freshly prepared by Samira every morning. Hamza is a great host, very professional and makes sure you have the best stay possible. I really liked our chats whenever I returned from my exploring. The location is also close to Jemaa el Fnaa, (6 mins once u know your way) close to a parking and quite easy to find…

We did not like anything, actually. As a positive aspect of improvement, we would enjoy the possibility of having a water heater for having some hot drinks during the night.

Lovely peaceful property right in the heart of everything. Fabulous staff, lovely breakfast and a great base to nip back for an air conditioned rest on a hot day. One tip is when searching in google maps for directions is to get directions to ‘Riad UP’ as the two Riads entrances are close to each other.

Good location, super-helpful staff (Both Hamza and Samira couldn't have done more), nice vibe, rooftop breakfasts (Packed breakfasts for days trips), decent shower and toilet facilities (You don't have to contort to use in comfort), convenient air shuttle service. A worthy abode to reside in, should you choose to do so.

Everything was perfect. I don't think one can think of a better Riad than this one if one compares the cost and its location. Staff is par excellence. Room size, cleanliness and comforts are above board. Never think of any other Riad if you can get it.

Everything! Hamza and Samira are wonderful and made us always feel very taken care of and welcomed. The room was a bit small (with windows only on the internal court side) but still perfect for our needs. The breakfast is a feast in particular for people who have a weakness for sweets. Having breakfast on the rooftop was a daily highlight! A big thank you also to Ilyas who took very good care of us in the transfers from and to the airport (also very early in the morning). The main square is about 10 minutes away on foot. All in all a wonderful stay. We warmly recommend the riad and its amazing staff!

Everything was PERFECT!

Amazing!! Without a doubt, staying at this riad in Marrakech was an incredible and unexpected experience!! Personel : Both Hamza and the cleaning lady, whose name I can't remember right now, were extraordinary!! Kind, friendly, helpful... they prepared breakfast for us to take to the activity we had planned for the morning, they helped us organize the taxi ride at half past two in the morning to get to the airport, they treated us very kindly!! And it is appreciated, definitely recommended!! I hope that European hotels would learn a little, because these things make the difference!! Important: you are just a few minutes, never more than ten minutes walking from all the meeting points that organize the activities, so the location 5 minutes from the center of the square is a big plus!!

There was only soap in the bathroom, no shower gel. The wifi connection in the room was poor.

Good location but very hard to find alone. Transfer was offered very kindly but we tought we would not need it. Recommendation: accept it :) Nice welcome with Moroccan tea, helpful personnel.

The room is very simple and clean, the bed comfortable, but there are no windows so it gets a little stuffy and dark.

The two best things about this hotel are the staff and the location. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Navigating the medina is a challenge and Hamza was beyond wonderful. The location of the hotel is also top notch as it is in the heart of the old city, within walking distance of most the attractions, but also in a quiet part so very calm at night.

The rooms are quite close together, so we could hear noise from neighbouring rooms. Additionally, the shower’s shampoo and soap holder was broken, causing the bottles to fall frequently.

The facilities were pleasant and the location was convenient. The staff were very friendly and polite- Hamza and Samira were truly lovely, making our short stay very comfortable.

Nice Riad, little bit hard to get to (google maps shows an entrance from a different street), check the address. I highly appreciate very prompt responses from the manager, he was super nice (as well as the lady who welcomed us) and they packed us breakfast to go because we had to leave early. Rooms are okay, nothing fancy but worth the price I would say :)

A small recommendation to fix a shower holder and change bathroom essentials

There was an amazing and very welcoming host. Hamza warmly met us in the reception, gave plenty of helpful tips and explained everything we needed as well as arranged the reliable private transfer. The room was neat, cleaned daily, and breakfasts were diverse and delicious with traditional Moroccan food. Highly recommend this small but such an incredible Riad in the medina of Marrakesh.
