Really clean and cozy place, very traditional. Breakfast was so good and the staff is so kind. At one point we were lost and couldn’t find the hotel, and Laila offered to come pick us up and take us back. Really kind people and a beautiful riad.

    Nothing, everything was good

Beautiful and clean riad from the 14th century in the heart of the Fez Medina. The property manager Laila was so kind, helpful and made a delicious breakfast. We had to move due to some construction to a new riad and Laila made sure to more than make up for the inconvenience with a delicious meal she brought to our room. This property is amazing value for money and our favorite stay in Morocco by far!

Only downside to this property is the WiFi can be a bit slow at times. Still a 10/10 though!

The room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. The owner was very helpful. On our checkout date, the owner even prepared packed breakfast with various food and generous portion for us. We tried the dinner at the hotel which was ok but not great. The house is in old town and cannot be accessed by car/taxi. This is common for old town but need to be aware of this.

We lived at the highest floor. It was challenging to use the narrow staircases to move our luggages between the entrance and the room.

I love every part of my stay at Dar Demlij I had a bad experience in another accomodation and luckily I found Dar Demlij, where the host treated me perfectly The room is perfectly comfortable, clean and beautiful! The breakfast is delicious and you can also take advantage of the terrace But the first most important thing is the kindness of the hosts, I really recommend this place!

Laila, the owner was so kind and helpful! She communicated in advance so we would have a seamless arrival! The Riad is from 1362 but in such amazing condition and kept spotless! It has so much heritage and culture. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean! We had the most beautiful breakfast on the terrace in the morning and on our last morning we had to leave early so Laila packed our breakfast to go! The value for this stay was so good. The location is right in the hub of the Medina! We would stay again in a second!!!

For us everything was so great, but things to consider is how tight the stairwell going up is, in case you have large luggage it may be difficult. Also, the walk to the Riad is through the bustling streets of the Medina and down hill, so on the way back it is all up hill, in case you have a lot of luggage to consider.

Riad was super clean & in the heart of the medina, parking is safe & 5 mins away as there are no cars allowed in the medina. Bed was comfy & we decided to have dinner at the Riad as the food on offer was to our taste & reasonably priced & plentiful. Staff were friendly & spoke good English, French & Spanish . Breakfast the next morning was amazing & again plenty to choose from. Thankyou for your hospitality 👍🏻
