I had an incredible stay at Riad Dar Chrifa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The riad itself is an oasis of calm and comfort amidst the bustling streets of the medina. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The room was beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan touches, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was modern yet kept in line with the authentic design of the riad. I especially loved the peaceful courtyard where I could relax with a cup of mint tea after a day of exploring. The location was perfect—just a short walk to major attractions, yet tucked away enough to offer a serene escape from the crowds. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries, fruit, and traditional Moroccan options. Overall, Riad Dar Chrifa exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming experience in Morocco.

I had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Cherifa. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially Masouad, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. The riad was spotlessly clean, and its charming atmosphere made it feel like a true Moroccan experience. The location is excellent close to everything yet peaceful enough to relax after a day of exploring. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting the area.

The room could have more light!

It's a special kind of property! Riad are traditional family houses before to become to be a hotel. Good location, clean and the room have a good size for my purpose. The staff was pretty kind!

Due to a lack of ventilation, the bathroom could become quite stuffy.

- The staff were amazing. They accommodated us with late check-out, and a few other requests that we had. They treated us like a family. - Very good hammam service on site! you don’t even have to go anywhere. Very relaxing with reasonable price. - Great location for not being inside of Medina, so it is a little quieter.

Salaah was a very kind and attentive member of staff who was always ready to help us.

nothing to do with the Riad, but the teenagers outside in the streets near the Medina will say you are going the wrong way, walk with you to show you the right way, then ask for money. be prepared and tell them you don’t need any help. luckily the staff at the Riad are very quick to answer the door to let you in and tell the people to leave you alone.

Lots of dust in the room, half of the blankets and towels available, no fresh air in the room and bathroom. Close to a mosque, at 5AM you must wake up

The property of the room (bathroom specifically and bed) could be improved Bed sheets a were a bit dated :( The room rate was fair but what they charged for dinner was ridiculous and much more expensive than all restaurants around...

There is zero noise cancellation, so you can hear every single step and noise. Also, there is no single window facing the street, all the windows are facing the inner yard which has a roof on top, so you don't get to have fresh air, and when they fry something for breakfast the smell just goes directly to the room.

The staff was very friendly and nice! The guy working at the Riad helped us a lot. The place is beautiful.

There are not many restaurants near the Riad. Nevertheless, the Riad offers half board, which I didn't try so can't comment. Unfortunately, one key staff was sick (flu, covid?) and still had to work, risking to spread it to customers. This person was doing a great job with big efforts, but should have been replaced by another staff to recover and prevent spreading viruses.

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious room (thanks to the Riad for the upgrade), comfortable bed.

I had an amazing experience at Riad Dar Chrifa. The place is beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, clean, and full of charm. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. A special mention goes to Masoud, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. He was always friendly, helpful, and attentive—whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or simply making sure I had everything I needed. His warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Morocco. I will definitely come back!
