Extremely accommodating, beautiful property , they put me in a room that shocked me. It must have had 25 foot ceilings . The AC unit was outstanding , and every inch of the room was detailed by wonderful handcraft. If I come back to Fes I will be staying here again without a doubt. The free breakfast was genuinely good aswell.

As this is a historic building, some areas show their age, but we found this adding to the charm.

Riad Damia is absolutely stunning! The traditional Moroccan architecture is spectacular - intricate plasterwork, beautiful tilework, and that gorgeous central courtyard with the ornate chandelier. Every corner is Instagram-worthy. The staff were amazing, especially the concierge who is calm, caring and competent. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh bread, delicious cakes, freshly brewed Moroccan tea and coffee.

It was my first trip in Morocco, And seemed like a fairy tale of 1001 nights! I should say Ryad Damia was a crown of Moroccan wonderland, with its amazing architecture, extremely living and friendly staff, unique service tailored just for you! Love and care from staff we received, was incomparable! Asma and Hassan were amazing! They were arranging everything we needed with great professionalism ! The guide Rashid was amazing and knowledgeable! I am humbled!

Accessible by car with free parking outside. The staff helped me resolve the parking dispute with the garage down the road . Got a room upgrade. Normal breakfast hour is 8:30, we asked and got full breakfast at 7am. Everything is perfect.

The staff, especially Asma and the other staffs (hope I got the name correctly) were very friendly, professional, helpful and accomodating. The Riad was gorgeous, our room was super big. Breakfast was plentiful and ordered dinner was better than the restaurant outside. It was a lovely Riad with a caring feeling.

    Everything was great.

We really loved the place! So beautifully decorated, the room was spacious and comfortable, there was even a shared terrace upstairs with an amazing view. The host, Hassan, truly treated us like his family, helping us resolve any question or need, like finding a guide and booking a taxi, as well as giving us tips and just having nice and even philosophical conversations. This all made our experience in Fez unforgettable!

Absolutely no complaints - just wish we had more time here!

The building itself is absolutely stunning - beautiful traditional craftsmanship marks every doorway, ceiling, chair and table. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and the breakfast simple but delicious. The little patio on the roof offers some lovely views of the city, and the great location puts you just a corner away from the start of the labyrinth that is the medina. But the genuine, welcoming staff are what truly made our stay special. Most especially Hassan, who went well out of his way to accommodate us, give us recommendations and made sure our experience of Fez was perfect. I would also highly recommend the Hammam here-the ladies were excellent and made it such a relaxing experience. We encountered quite a few tourists traps while travelling through Morocco, but this was honestly such a breath of fresh air! I cannot recommend it enough!

Due to huge windows from the room to hall it was a bit lacking some privacy, there were curtains of course. Our room was on the ground floor. But it's something we can stand getting that luxury local experience!

Great place! Easy-accessible both by foot and by car. Really easy even for foreigners. Picturesque design, very spacious room with so many beds, 2 wcs, airco. We were not able to eat breakfast due to an early flight, but it was so sweet to get a take away pack. The staff was very friendly and helped us really a lot!

Hassan is a truly exceptional host — very helpful, incredibly attentive and always making sure everything is perfect. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. He was always available to answer any question or help us with anything we needed, from arranging taxis to giving tips on what to visit in Fes. The Riyadh itself is stunning, with beautiful traditional decor and a peaceful atmosphere. But what really made our stay special was Hassan’s care and kindness. We felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Thank you, Hassan, for your amazing hospitality — you made our time in Fes unforgettable!

I had one minor issue with the Medina tour arranged by the Ria which, while perfectly acceptable, was a bit too focused on taking you to the guide's friend's shops!

All the staff at the Riad were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. Particularly Azzedine who couldn't have been more helpful and was a fantastic host. The Riad itself was beautiful, with incredible interior and a spacious room. A relaxing retreat away from the bustle of the Medina. The breakfast at the Riad was both delicious and large!

This riad would be a true gem if they paid more attention to details. Just a nice deep cleaning at their beautiful antiques and a fresh paint would do the jod.

Nothing, although the breakfast could have been more varied with perhaps some fresh fruit available.

Riad Damia is an absolutely gorgeous property and we had a lovely stay. The Moroccan decor was beautiful throughout the hotel. Our room was one of the nicest room we’ve had during our many travels. It was spacious and with detailed Moroccan ceiling paintings, wonderful tiles and beautifully painted and embroidered furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, with a great shower. We stayed in the roof terrace which was delightful. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. It is located on the edge of the Medina, which was fine. It was quiet and it was less than a ten minute walk to the center of the Medina. Fes felt safe despite the inevitable hassle by would be guides and vendors; very few were aggressive and the majority of people were friendly and helpful.
