This is the most beautiful Riad we’ve stayed at. It feels so luxurious and grand with high ceilings and beautiful finishes. The pool was a big hit for our kids, and it was such a quiet and calm oasis. Our host Moufid went above and beyond and was incredibly helpful with arranging a tour guide for us and giving us great recommendations. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

As with most riads, it is a bit claustrophobic, without sun and difficult to locate, but this is not specific to this accommodation. If I had known the concept I might have not chosen riads overall everywhere

The most amazing aspect of the stay was Moufid. What a superb host. From even before we arrived he went out of his way to help. We stayed as a family of four in a ground floor room and had plenty of space. The property is located within the maze of the medina but it still has relatively easy access to the main road when arriving by taxi. The beautiful courtyard and amazing traditional breakfasts completed a very enjoyable stay.

It was a bit difficult to shower without getting water on the floor. Other than that everything was great.

The Riad is gorgeous! It is an oasis hidden behind a simple door in the narrow dark streets of the medina. Moufid went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even arranged an eat in meal our last night as one of our party was not feeling well and it was pouring out.

This place is an absolute treasure! Moufid is the most lovely host and he’ll go out of his way to make sure you have the best time. He helped us find a guide last minute for a tour, a barber and food recommendations. He also ensured we were paying reasonable prices all along by telling us what to expect. The riad can be a little difficult to find but it’s ok once you’ve gotten your bearings. Overall, would highly recommend.

Beautiful riad in a quiet part of the old medina, yet with easy access to all the sights. The place is simply gorgeous and the rooms are not only comfortable but very beautiful. Moufid took amazingly good care of us, and gave us a lot of good advice. A great experience overall, made our trip to Fes unforgettable!

If anything, there is no pool

We stayed at Borj Dhab because Chahd palace had no space. The hosts help you with everything you need. You get a map, they can arrange a taxi or tour guide, and help to make a reservation at a restaurant, and even put your wine in their fridge. They were even willing to share their recipes of the absolutely delicious dinner. Nothing is too much. Thanks again!

People checking in at 1:30am at night and talking loudly in the courtyard where our windows were opening onto and waking us up.

The communication with Moufid prior to arrival was excellent. He contacted me through WhatsApp to let us know the airport pick up was arranged and with some helpful information. The staff in the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Moufid sat us down on arrival with mint tea and explained and organized a guide to make it more efficient for my mother to see the important sites of the Medina. The Ryad is beautiful and the rooms comfortable. The breakfast was nice and tasty.

Unfortunately we could not have breakfast because our tour was leaving at 8am. Also, there was no clear separation for the water of the shower, so the bathroom would get a bit messy.

The place was in a nice location and had good value for money. The hosts were very helpful and were happy to arrange several touristic stuff for us. The building was very beautiful and the room was comfortable, there was a huge double bed n in the big area and two small ones in a smaller detached room upstairs.

Staff, position.. everything Moufid welcome us in Riad Chahd Palace for our 3 days in Fez. Riad Chahd Palace, in addition to being equipped with everything you need, it is also a really beautiful place, but the real secret of this place is Moufid himself. He is simply exceptional, he will give you all the info you need, he will personally bring you in every place inside the Medine where is better to be escorted by a local, he will manage and arrange all the trip you would like to have near Fez, he will suggest you in bargaining with local shops inside the Medina, in conclusion he will really help you with everything you may need. Moreover, Moufid is a really smart and curious person, we spent much time talking about different cultures and habits between our country and Morocco and there were always such nice conversations. We definitely recommend Riad Chahd Palace and its host Moufid, they will make your holidays in Fez even better. Thanks Moufid, Sara and Michele

As I have a severe gluten allergy, the breakfast accommodation could have been better. They served wonderful eggs (and an overall WONDERFUL breakfast) but they gave me the 'set' breakfast which included many items I couldn't eat. I would have appreciated 2 eggs as a substitute as I always left hungry. I tried to ask the lady who works there for some extra cheese or fruit to fill me up (and a simple coffee refill) and she was unbelievably rude and gave me death stares all morning - I'm not sure if I did something to offend her? She really didn't fit the vibe of the place as everything else was 10/10.

What an unbelievable stay - the pictures really don't do this place justice AT ALL. Our room was so gorgeous, we honestly felt like we were staying in a mansion. We wished we had more time to just stay in our room. Moufid (the host) was so precious. We had such a wonderful welcome, he went above and beyond to find us parking, he was so accommodating with our slight change of travel plans, and he gave us some useful tips for the city. We decided not to get a guide, but tips like walking downhill if lost and knowing we'd be able to message him if we needed was so so helpful. The location was great, the room was great and overall our stay was great. We would definitely stay here again.

I got a suite. It was very large (2 rooms) and very confortable! The owner, Mr Moufid is very nice person, super helpful and always ready to satisfy every request. He arranged for us a tour of the city and the sim card for our phone. I am very grateful to him. The breakfast was very tasty with many kind of food. You can trust of Moufid. Mohfid - host was so nice, kind and helpfull that is dificult to describe :D he honor us with drink - tea, he explained us everything about Fes, gave us tips for traveling around Fes, recommend us some resturants... you can really ask him everything no matther how - you can call him, text him... we had ''situation'' - FYI - we paid for parking 30 Dirham instead of 20 - he wanted to solve that and ''refund'' us with 10 Dirham - even that he didn't have anything with it. RESPECT. Location is near of gates to medina, nearby you have shops, stores, resturants, park, market, nearby you can find place/s in which you can find beer :) I have to mention - we had to leave accomendation early in the morning - before breakfast - Mohfid arranged TAKE OFF breakfast for us - so when we left we took bags with prepaired breakfast. Room is really nice, clean, tidy - this room is suitable for couples and families.

Great place to stay when in Fes. We loved this Riad so much. It's amazing, very beautiful, comfortable, next to Fes Medina but in a very quiet and calm environment. Moufid (the host) was really nice and helped us with literally everything. Would absolutely recommend to stay here.
