The room was big with 2 single beds, new and comfortable, also 1 double bed. The breakfast was good , Karim the staff was really good.. The place is located 15 minutes walking to the medina. Also they have a restaurant where you can have dinner if you arrive late , the food wasn't cheap but tasty.. the owner helps us to buy tickets to the train, also he offers taxi or tours if you are interested. He is a bit pushy. The unique thing that we didn't like was the smell of the drains in the room.

It’s far from the touristy attraction. The riad is hard to navigate specially if it’s your first time to visit. I wish they will place a bedside tables and chairs in every room.

The room is spacious. It’s near to souq. The breakfast was good and their terrace.

The rooms are a bit rough around the edges, some things like mirrors, shelving, sockets, lights etc definitely need to be fixed and due to it being an old building the plumbing in the toilet smells really bad, which is expected in a building that age but better ventilation could help.

Lovely owners and staff at Riad Bel Kayed, we could really sense they were caring. The Riad itself is very beautiful, they serve breakfast, can help you find suitable parking if you're driving, arrange laundry etc. Overall the velue you get for what you pay is very good.

Although there are papers on the street walls, it's not so easy to find the riad for the first time. There is nothing inside the room. No fridge, no hairdryer, no kettle.

Big and clean riad, big rooms, nice place. Nice and helpful staff. Good terrace with dinner.

The bathroom had no windows, so it was quite humid. The room (ground floor) was near the restaurant, so sometimes there was no perfect privacy/intimacy.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The Riad is nicely decorated. It's a bit far from the center (20-25 minutes) but it's perfect to discover a local neighbourhood, with a local Souk, that has great prices in comparison with the center shops.

The location, please take note of this, if you are girl traveling alone, and it’s your first time in Morocco you will feel not confortable to walked at night for the rode to go to the hostel, it’s very difficult to access. Better choose something near to the main routes. They have a restaurant also inside of the property, wich is more expensive compared with the other locals in fes, but the food it’s good. The room have ac, so it’s perfect in summer, the only thing it’s that the restaurant it’s where are all the rooms so if you want to sleep you will hear everything and the light it’s coming inside because the room has not curtains. It’s great to go with you couple or friends but to be alone as a girls I didn’t recommend. All the commune areas are beautiful , and the Terrance amazing!

The people, all the staff it’s really nice, even they help me in things that they don’t need to do it just for help. The lady who prepared breakfast it’s really honest and sweet, the man who doesn’t speak English too and the couple are very kind.

The hotel takes 6 to 8 minutes to walk into from the nearest road access points, which is longer than Google maps shows (since it shows a pedestrian access road which doesn't exist on the ground). But this was not a major problem. There were signs pointing the way and a couple of local people pointed us the way the first time. The location is close to both the Medina (what visitors mostly want to see) and the centre of town

We didn't have breakfast, but did have lunch the day we left, which was delicious and had big portions -- good value for money. The manager was friendly and helpful, and let us stay in the courtyard (where we had had lunch) until we left for our train about 4.30.

We wanted to book a day trip to chefchaouen and they offered us 35 euro each person. But outside on the internet I booked for 200 Mad each person.

    Living was good..
