Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Poland-
I had a fantastic stay at Riad Arrahma! The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. A special thank you to Oussama, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was incredibly helpful, always available, and provided us with excellent recommendations and assistance throughout our trip. His warm and friendly attitude truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I highly recommend Riad Arrahma to anyone visiting the area – and if you're lucky, you'll have Oussama there to help make your experience even better!

MalaysiaI wish it had a better roof top terrace but then again for the price, it’s already more than enough for me.
The people looking after it were wonderful and kind. Soukaina and Houda kept the place and rooms clean, they were kind, helpful, friendly and they made me coffee and breakfast! Even though they didn’t speak much English, I felt at home and cared for. The night manager Oussama is an awesome guy - he speaks good English and kept the door open all through the night for guest who came back or checked-in late. He was friendly, helpful and gave good advice on the attractions and places to visit outside of Marrakech. The property was clean, homely, had a beautiful wall of lanterns, the air-conditioning cold and the bed was comfortable too.

United KingdomThe toilet facilities were not as we expected, maybe we didn't read the description. It is slightly small for someone maybe over 6 foot and there are no doors. A curtain separates the toilet and bedroom. There were also no toiletries other than hand-wash. But this wasn't an issue as we got them from the shop nearby This is nothing the Riad could do but the roads leading to the riad is very narrow so cars won't reach there. You will need to walk (roughly 5 minutes) and carry your luggage to the riad depending on where you are dropped off. (Parking Naji Palce Moukef is the closest we got to). My wife didn't like the location at the beginning as the route to the riad was very crammed with lots of speedy bikes, donkey carriages and some corners with garbage and the stench with it. But as we found better ways out of the market and getting used to the busy markets, this wasnt really a problem. Beware of "friendly" people who will take you to the riad some different route and ask for money as it happened to us. In hindsight we should have contacted the Riad as we got off the taxi. Overall these things could have been managed better ourselves and nothing really to blame on the Riad. But just wanted to add if it helps others
Riad Arrahma was a nice little accommodation. Ahmed and Ossauma were brilliant throughout our stay and were very helpful in giving us top tips around Marrakech. The breakfast provided everyday was nice and the room was spacious with air conditioning, comfy beds and pillows. There is also a terrace if you want to sunbathe. The location was a hit for me as it was very central and was always 15/20 min walk to the top attractions like Ben Youssef Medarasa, Bahia palace and maybe slightly more to Jardin Majorelle and YSL museum. The riad also helped us to get a taxi to our next location.

SpainEl Riad está entre medio de los pequeños callejones de Marrakech, alli no pueden acceder los coches pero los taxis te dejan como a 3 min a pie de este encantador Riad
This Riad is a true oasis in a buzzing messy city like Marrakesh. Is a peaceful place in wich free little birds welcome you with their chirps and also are a lovely company during the breakfast. Our Host Oussama a very charming guy was super welcoming and always ready to help along with the rest of the staff. I can't reccomend enough this place and I wish they can grow fast just make the fountain working and put a milk frother for milk foam for the Cappuccino in the morning and this will be the Best of the Historical Medina of Marrakesh ❤️ نحن الفريق ☆

United KingdomWe enjoyed our stay in Riad Arrahma, the staff was so welcoming and nice, when we had a little issue with the light in our bathroom, it was promptly fixed, and staying in this riad made us experience the souks properly as we always pass through there when going to the city center which is about 15mins walk away. I also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, and they have a cute pool (although I didn't get to take a swim in it) it's very quiet and peaceful too. Highly recommend Riad Arrahma for your trip to Marrakesh.

United KingdomIt's a small observation, but there was a smell of something like mothballs in the room. This largely went away after leaving the windows open for a while, but it was still noticeable.
The staff were amazing and Oussama and Ahmet made us feel at home. We were there during school holidays in Morocco and there were lots of celebrations happening. The staff brought traditional sweets to our room during one of them. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with a good selection of breads and fruit. The facilities were super clean and we lacked nothing at all. The location was also great: we were inside the medina, in what we thought was the most authentic part of it, away from the most touristy bits but within walking distance from them.

PolandNothing, everything was fine.
Riad is located in quiet area, around 20mins walk to main market. You can barely here praies, but might wake you up if you have light sleep. The same as with tweeting tiny bird, which liked Riad so much he was waking us up everyday. Guys who work there are really kind and take into considerations your queries, they definitely do their best and thanks to them Riad is a nice place to stay. Breakfast is really good one, delicious and nicely served. Could definitely recommend staying here.

GermanyHotel location is maybe not the best as it is situated in a narrow street which gets really dark at night. However, for us that was not a problem.

United KingdomToilet was slightly too tight between the walls, especially when making Wudu.
We liked the family atmosphere of the staff members, they were very helpful with our needs. They even supported and arrange our shuttle to the airport [extra bonus points for that]. This Riad had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, 10/10 for the comfy of the bed. It was also located in a very nice market area with many choices to choose from.

SpainWe stayed for just one night at Riad Arrahma and found it to be a warm and welcoming place. The room, bathroom, and facilities were all clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets and soft towels. Breakfast was lovely — fresh coffee, tea, bread, jams & cheese. The riad is in a great location, about a 12-minute walk to the markets, making it a convenient and authentic base for exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, adding a genuine charm to our stay. It’s worth noting that the ground floor rooms don’t have exterior windows, as all openings face into the riad’s internal courtyard — typical of traditional riads, which adds to the authentic feel, though it might not suit those seeking fresh outdoor air or natural light. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, should you wish to have some air circulation. The pool is more decorative than functional, but it adds a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Overall, a peaceful and culturally rich place to stay for a short visit to the city.

United KingdomOne minor thing was the water in the bathroom was not draining quickly after showering . Not sure if it was due to the way the plumbing was set up or something else. Even after the plumber fixed it, there were still issues. Apart from this rest all was very great !
Great staff and very helpful.Oussama and Ahmed made sure we were very well taken care of and assisted us in all ways !! Oussama picked us up from a nearby taxi stop and gave us a lot of tips on local sight seeing and etc. We spent 5 nights there and it was bliss to wake up to the birds chirping. aircon was well maintained and nice. Very quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast 🥞 15 mins walk to the Jema el fnaa.
