Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great location and very comfortable! The family running it are lovely and were super helpful, they even helped me with my Sahara desert tour booking and transfer to Marrakesh. The rooms were comfortable with aircon and nice mattress and bedding. Breakfast each morning was a nice touch also.

LithuaniaIt was relatively easy to find, not like most riads. The staff member Youssef I met was absolutely amazing. He made my stay fantastic, going out of his way to help out any way he could. The place was absolutely fabulous as well, having all the facilities one needs. Everything was very clean.

PortugalNothing in particular.
Beautiful Riad. Very convenient location in order to not walk a lot with your luggages inside the Medina, you have to ask the taxi to stop in the nearby Pharmacy Fatima Alfihriya and walk 1 minute inside the Medina. Very good breakfast. Nice staff, Youssef kindly helped me early in the morning to grab a taxi to the train station.

MalaysiaHad a lovely stay at this riad. While it's located a bit farther from the center of the Medina, I found the peaceful atmosphere to be a great escape from the busy streets. The walk to the main attractions took some time, but it was manageable and gave you chance to see more of the local neighborhood. What truly made the stay special was the staff—they were absolutely amazing, special shout out to Salk. Warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed, from directions to arranging transport, or recommending places to eat. Their genuine hospitality really stood out and made you feel at home. The riad itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained. If you're looking for a quieter stay with outstanding service, this place is a great choice.

CanadaWe had a wonderful stay. The space is amazing and big probably 20 foot ceilings. You feel like a king staying in one of these rooms. We were attended to by SALEK. He is the guest liaison at the hotel. He was helping with every aspect of our stay including helping with our tourist questions , recommending places to visit , organizing guides for such visits if we wanted serving great Moroccan tea etc. Salek was also very helpful in organizing an early breakfast just for us at the hotel because we were leaving on a tour before the usual breakfast time. Also the location not being in the centre of the Medina is actually better , because there is an easy access for transport such as taxi or bus and you only need to walk for one minute from the drop off point. Unlike some other places in the centre of the Medina which require a long walk with luggage (sometimes more than 20 minutes uphill. ) I also looked inside some other riads to compare and this one has by far the biggest rooms and common areas. They also have a full delicious kitchen with is very convenient when you have lots of plans. We were offered a free delicious meal during our stay and it was a nice touch on top of already great experience.

United StatesDespite a vent existing, the bathroom had inadequate ventilation and a small exhaust fan on the outer (small) bathroom vent would help greatly. One can easily hear noised in the courtyard, but that didn't bother me. The location is in the valley at the southern edge at the bottom of the medina, which means a steep walk up the hill to the medina or a steeper walk (which I did) up to Borj Sud. The room's lighting is "authentic" which means not very bright. :)
I stayed in the larger room on the ground floor at no additional cost despite the smaller room I'd booked. (I think they didn't want to watch the fat guy try to get his luggage up the stairs.) The room had a king bed and a twin bed and a private bathroom. The traditional big wooden doors with smaller doors built in as well as stained-glass in the windows all facing the courtyard; there is one external window too high up to open, but faced only the alley anyway. The staff was great and extremely helpful. The included breakfast was a low-protein, high-carb feast that I extended to lunch. I also ate a great (yet affordable) dinner there on one of my nights. They carried my luggage to and from the parking area for me which is good as I never found have found the entrance without them.
