Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainWalls are paper thin and could hear everything.
Located in the Medina but not too far from the main gate. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Very affordable. Easy to park in the nearby area.

HungaryThe staff are very helpful, it is better to ask them where to go before starting your exploration in Fes. The decoration of the Riad is beautifully finished

ColombiaIt is very nice when you arrive to a place and you find a guy very gently in your hotel. Taoufik is the kind of guy that always want to help you. Accommodation was very good. The bed was good, the bathroom was very good, and the breakfast was also very good. The Riad is inside the Medina, but very close to the entrance. For us it was perfect.

ColombiaThis Riad is very good located, close to the entrance to the Medina. The house is very nice and the room has all you need during traveling, a bed, a shower, and a toilette. The breakfast was the typical breakfast of Morocco, coffee, or tea, different types of bread, marmalade, olive oil, butter. Taoufik was very kind with us, and he’s very gently. If you want a good option to stay in Fes, close to the entrance of the Medina, this Riad is a very good option.

SpainBathrooms need a serious fix. We tried two rooms because the first one had very bad smell coming out of the bathroom. In the second the smell was gone but sink and shower were clogged. Also, it took some convincing to pay with credit card as they were insisting about cash. The claim of having the terminal out of use proved not to be true when I pushed them to pay with my card as advertised in Booking.
Nice and available staff.

United KingdomBreakfast could be better; unlike other riads we stayed in across Morocco, this only served a traditional Moroccan breakfast without any eggs. We had two rooms and both rooms had drainage issues, causing the bathrooms to flood after every shower.
Location - just minutes away from the Blue Gate so lots of restaurants and easy access to the medina Beautiful architecture and decoration Good wifi

CroatiaIt is a riad. It is not a luxury hotel. I would put better and stronger lighting in the room in order to get a better atmosphere.
For the price we paid (Booking.com discounted), it was a very good value. The host is experienced and affable.

United StatesRoom was a bit tight, opened up to the center court so other guest discussions from the lobby & other rooms could be heard. We had small bathroom issues - broken toilet seat, broken towel bar & shower drain did not drain so total bathroom floor got wet each morning. Rooftop deck worn down & not well maintained.
Location was good - close, but far enough away from. medina craziness. Close to restaurants & shopping. Facility was very nice re decor (lobby very nice tile/mosaics), layout... clean & safe. Breakfast was enjoyable. Bed was comfortable. Water was nice & hot. For the money a good value.

United StatesThe host was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure my friend and I were very comfortable. Our flights got in late and he made sure to stay up to meet us at our agreed-upon spot to walk us to the riad at 3 in the morning. Despite him not getting much sleep that night due to other guests' early check-out, he checked to make sure we had everything we needed at breakfast before we headed out. Incredible service that went above and beyond a typical Fes medina riad. I have stayed in many at this point and this was far and away the best, especially for its price point. Next time I need to stay in the medina I will be using this accommodation.

MoroccoSound insulation is certainly not perfect (I woke up at night during the calls for prayer and sometimes in the morning due to activity downstairs), but this is generally to be expected from a traditional accommodation. Ear plugs recommended

MoroccoRiad built in the traditional Moroccan style. Gives a lot of positive energy and psychological comfort. I felt very comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Al Hou for his kind reception and treatment. Thanks also to Mr. Youssef for his generous hospitality. I highly recommend this Riad .

CanadaIf I want to be picky, bathroom is very tiny. Sink is small, so when you wash your face water drips on the floor. One of the beds (next to the bathroom) is very hard.
Beautiful decor. We occupied a room with 4 beds on the last floor. Located very convenient to the exit from the medina. We ordered meal upon our arrival in the afternoon, it’s a bit pricy but delicious. Youssef was an amazing help, always available to answer questions. One night he showed us a very good place to eat (and very affordable price). The place was literally full at midnight. Ask him for directions if you come by car. There is an underground parking (30 dirham/night) not far from the riad.

United KingdomBreakfast was just breads and jams. The internal noise insulation is poor so light sleepers should bring ear plugs. It's a young team and maybe a little too informal/ casual at times. They charged us €15 (euros) to collect from Fes Train Station (which is optional). Convenient but expensive so bear this in mind when they discuss tour packages with you on arrival.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, nice decor and a good location within Medina. Overall good value for money.
