Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyEverything was so perfect! It’s a very small Riad, 3 or 4 rooms, the Host Olivier welcomes you in his house with open arms and together with Fatima make this nest a oasis of tranquillity in the charming chaos of the medina. Fantastic value for money, it’s not expensive but yet you get a great treatment. It’s very clean, the terrace has also amazing views and decorations. The breakfast is different every morning and there is lots of choice - they have the best Msemen I have ever eaten! I will be back for sure!

Cosy riad in Medina with an authentic vibe. Rooms were clean and tidy, big enough, and also we had a great rooftop terrace with a nice view. Breakfast was not like in a hotel but good enough with slight variations of dishes each day. We really enjoyed the conversations with the couple than owns the Riad, they gave us a lot of info. Would stay again.

United KingdomUnfortunately my room had no window, so no natural light, given the nature of riad’s building style.
Good location, Olivier and Sarah were very helpful with everything, excellent hosts , lovely roof top to chill and watch the sunset

United KingdomThe location was central and the charming owner was waiting for our taxi to arrive in order to guide us to the rihad. Although only a minute's walk from the very lively souk, the rihad is in a very quiet location. His lovely wife and their charming assistant Fatima made a very substantial and tasty breakfast each morning. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day with fresh towels and soaps supplied. Both husband and wife are French and understand and speak English. They couldn't have been more helpful. The terraces were fantastic. Great views of the city and of the Atlas mountain range.

United KingdomWe went out after we checked in as we were hungry. On our way home, this teenager followed us and asking for money. He was persistent and walked with us right at the doorstep. Me and my partner were so scared thinking that he would hurt us. It was past midnight and no people around. He did not stop until we gave him cash.
The property is clean and our bedroom was massive. The owner of the property Sarah and Olivier were very accomodating. Olivier waited for us on arrival even it was already late. Probably without this, we would find it difficult to find the Riad. The breakfast was also great, everything was homemade. Dining area is cozy. Coffee was delicious. Bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows. Sarah and Olivier gave us pointers where to go and what to avoid. The rooftop was fabulous. Not able to the sunbeds though as the weather was called. The lady who helps them was also hardworking, she makes the riad neat and tidy. Overall, I would recommend this Riad. I would probably stay there again, given the chance. Thank you Sarah and Olivier for making our stay very comfortable.

Olivier was a gracious host. Our flight got delayed and we arrived late at night but he went out of his way to meet us where the our taxi had dropped us off. The property is situated very close to the medina which made travelling much easier for us. It is clean and is very quiet. Plus the sunrise I experienced in the rooftop is magnificent. Overall, I like the ambience of the place.

BulgariaYou can't always find a parking spot, but the walk to your car is not far away when you park outside the souk.

United KingdomThere is nothing we weren’t happy with
We stayed in the room at the top where the terrace is so had perfect combination of both in and outdoor areas. Olivier is a most wonderful host, very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Fatmina is very kind and she keeps the whole Riad spotless. We’ve never been to Morocco before and didn’t know what to expect. It is so peaceful here and the souks and main square are definitely within walking distance. We would highly recommend a stay in this Riad for a truly magical Marrakech experience.

GermanyThe kids playing outside for an hour or so in the evening can be loud but they always stopped around bedtime and the place gets very quiet so it was never a bother.
The place was very clean and cosy. The location is very good, tucked in a quiet street of the medina, very close to many restaurants. Olivier made sure to look after us. There was always a little variation in the breakfast served which we appreciated. The room is huge and the bed was very comfy. The rooftop area is nice and peaceful too, very good for viewing the sunset. Check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and we were allowed to leave our bags for a bit after checking out.

TurkeyFirst of all, Thanks to Oliver. He and his wife are great hosts. They are really helpful. Even the riad is located far from the jemaa el fena , it takes 10 ,15 minute to walk there and you are never bored while walking. There are lots of shops on the road. And you can use main roads in the bazaar area to go to the riad. Thus it will be safer to reach the riad at night. Riad has a nice terrace and you can see the sunset there.
