Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing I could think of.
A traditional property. The hosts are wonderful. We traveled by motorcycle and the bike while it was on the road out side it was looked after all night by the hotel. CCTV cameras and the bike was blocked in with there cars so we had no concern. We stayed just for one night but wished we could have stayed longer.

GermanyThe street was noisy at night and filthy, but it's not the hotel's fault.
The guest house had an easy parking just in front of the building. Free of charge mint tea the whole day long. Spacious rooms/we stayed in an apartment.

United KingdomThe only issue was the air conditioning unit being in the living area and not the bedroom. We did not sleep well due to the heat in the room. Kept waking up sweating. Also the apartment was advertised as “balcony” but it was barely big enough to step outside.
This hotel is even better in person. The apartment was fantastic, so authentic and beautiful. We wish we spent more nights here. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to the centre. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We had a really good stay and would definitely return.

PortugalThe hotel was never able to get the wifi to work in our room. We specifically asked for and were promised a porter to assist with our luggage when leaving early on a Sunday morning. He just stood there and smiled, he did not help with one thing.
When registering the staff were incredible.

The interior is something special, check the hotel's pictures! The breakfast was really great, top quality. I was travelling by motorcycle was I had to leave outside in front of the hotel which was okay because it was watched over by the hotel staff 24/7 The entrance to the Medina is just 5 minutes away

United KingdomIf being really picky couldn't turn the air conditioning on. However it wasn't really a problem. If you have access issues there are a lot of stairs.
Very spacious room to relax, breakfast is served in your room or the roof terrace from 8 am onwards. Parking is reserved outside the hotel and jncluded in the rate. The location is perfect. Also mint tea is included for free whenever you want it and it tastes great. The moroccan style of the room was very tastefully done and was beautiful. They also offer more modern styles to suit peoples wants. I loved the 50000 different lamps which were in the rooms and the murals on the wall. Also the tv can screen cast so download some netflix.

United StatesWe are on an extended trip and book places where we can prepare a meal for ourselves whenever possible. This was the main reason we booked this property. Prior to arrival we stopped at a grocery store and purchased what we needed to prepare. When we arrived we were told there was no kitchen cooking allowed. They really need to change their listings so they aren’t promising one thing and failing on delivering it. I know beds are a personal preference, but these beds were the hardest beds I have experienced in Morocco.

United KingdomMy husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights, and from the moment we arrived, we experienced the best Moroccan hospitality. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the city center, ATMs, historical sites, and a variety of great restaurants, making it extremely convenient for exploring. One of the first things that stood out was the hotel’s interior design. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the elegant furnishings to the intricate décor that beautifully reflects Moroccan artistry. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and even more stunning than the pictures. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and designed with both beauty and relaxation in mind. The daily housekeeping service was exceptional, maintaining a level of cleanliness that rivaled five-star hotels. It was truly a luxurious experience. The food was another highlight of our stay. Breakfast had a fantastic variety of options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The free tea service was a wonderful added touch, allowing us to enjoy Morocco’s famous hospitality delivered to our room. What made our stay truly unforgettable was the staff. A special thank you to Jihad and both Mohammed, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They were polite, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable, always ready with recommendations and assistance. Their genuine kindness made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. This hotel is an absolute gem. The attention to detail, exceptional service, and warm Moroccan hospitality made it a stay to remember. We felt at home here, and without a doubt, we highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

United StatesThe bed.
Great location and great views from the room. The bed was the only thing that could be improved upon, although a firm Mattress in Morocco tends to be the norm and it was the same as pretty much everything else during my two weeks in Morocco.

CanadaThe kitchen area, with a good fridge, prep area, and plates etc., would be much more useful if there was a kettle, microwave, or toaster oven.
Charming suite, with comfortable seating and eating area. Excellent shower with abundant hot water. Very good breakfast served in your room. The beautiful rooftop terrace with its comfortable seating and great views of Chefchouan. Parking space reserved for us only 20 metres from the door of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English.

United StatesEverything was great!
The hotel, rooms, eclectic decor and rooftop terrace (indoor and outdoor was amazing). Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is a few minutes walk from the Medina and square. We walked all the way to the Spanish mosque to watch the sunset, no need for a taxi. Highly recommend.

CanadaAwesome location right near restaurants and the Medina. The owner was very helpful and also owned a takeout restaurant near the Medina, they had delivery to the hotel and it was very affordable and delicious. The breakfast and tea at the hotel was very good. The rooms were comfortable and very nicely decorated. The highlight of the hotel was the rooftop lounge where you could enjoy some mint tea and look at the beautiful scenery.
