Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesBoth times I have come in July. The room is nice enough though very basic. I highly recommend that they make a fan available as it is difficult to sleep in the summer heat.
The location is excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and informative about the surrounding area. Antonio is wonderful and helpful. He arranged for us to have a driver to take us (R/T) to Paradise Beach. This is the second time I have stayed here, and I will most likely stay again. Highly recommend it.

AustraliaAlthough I loved the inside of the room being painted dark blue which fits into the style of the area it did make it quite dark in the room - not a big deal at all though. Sometimes the bathroom was a bit smelly but that seems to be common in Morocco given the age of the buildings (which is part of the charm) and the plumbing systems not being the best. We just closed the bathroom door when it was a bit smelly.
Hotel is in a great location just outside of the Medina, meaning you can get dropped off right out the front by a taxi. Everything is in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is lovely with great views. Our room was nice and comfortable. Good value for money. Recommend staying here.

Right in the heart of this busy town, right next to the medina. Comfortable and clean and the sunset on the top terrace is not to be missed. It was very busy, locals taking holidays here, great atmosphere.

NetherlandsThe room was not clean. It seemed like it had not been used for a while. When we shared our complaints we were given a new room. Unfortunately this room was in the condition. A lot of dust on the floor and bathroom not spotless. But the decoration and vibe in the hotel is very cute and cosy, and the manager extremely nice. So we did not care that much and were only there for 1 night.
The manager who has been running this hotel for 13+ years is a very friendly, honest and helpful guy. My phone died and he took me to 5 stores in an attempt to buy a new charger. He gave us a lot of tips, free tea and made sure that we were enjoying our stay at the hotel.

ItalyIt wasn’t clean. Too many details were missing: the bed lamp didn’t work, there was no soap nor shower gel. We asked for them and they gave a little soap the day after so we couldn’t wash and shower property for the whole day after our arrival. There was no complimentary bottle of water (which we found everywhere in other 5 cities in Morocco). We asked for it and the owner told us to buy them at the market.

FinlandRooms are very humid. There is a lot of mold on the wals. So if you have any respiratory issues, do not go.
The old spanish owner of the place is very unfriendly, not respectfull, do not have any customer service skills. He did not even say welcome when I arrived but just your booking is fine. The atmosphere is not good at all. The owner spoiled my stay in Asilah. The local man working in the hotel lucky was very nice and and friendly and helpful..

New ZealandWe had a great room on the street side, however we had to shut the windows at night due to noise. This meant it was quite hot inside the room as there was no AC or fan. Also it was a little more expensive than we expected.
A Beautiful & relaxing place to stay in a great location near to good restaurants and cafes. The rooftop is fabulous for watching the sunset. Mosab was an incredible and welcoming host who always had time to chat on the way past reception and helped us with all we needed. we felt very safe and comfortable and we appreciated the Laundry service too
