Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomA like bit far from town centre, the general outside neighbourhood is a little scruffy, in the process of redevelopment it appears, though it didn’t bother me personally, also not the easiest to find.
Friendly, cheap, good lockers, comfortable single bed, reasonable breakfast. Great place for price, though looks to still be in the throws of being setup, so feels a little ad-hoc/unfinished. Kitchen is small, but fully functional.

PolandThey could have sent information about the location a day in advance, not the same day It would be useful to have a quiet night or to make some arrangements to isolate the sound from the terrace (it was quite noisy in the evening)
No bunk beds in 4 beds room Towels Local atmosphere Very good breakfast One of the cheapest options in town (Info about location you get on WhatsApp)

PolandI had an amazing stay at this hostel! Everything was great – the atmosphere, the people, and the food, which was absolutely delicious. I met some wonderful people during my time here, and I’m sure I’ll come back someday. This hostel is perfect for anyone who wants to experience the real Morocco.

United KingdomEverything was fine. Only thing is Hay al Farah, (the street), seems to have a weird numbering system which confused more than one taxi driver. Just make sure you have a pin dropped on Google Maps and it's fine.
The location is slightly away from the tourist area and hotels but close to the city centre where the Moroccan people seem to go. At night a short walk away it is very lively and the streets are packed with people who are shopping, having some food or just socialising. You feel like you are really in Morocco rather than the more touristy areas where it can feel slightly artificial. Where the hostel is is a very down to earth residential area with lots of families, many children happily playing in the street and lots of small local shops and restaurants. The area is very Moroccan and it is completely safe, no-one bothers you for anything and the prices are much closer to local prices.

AustriaTrue Moroccan Gem – An Unforgettable Stay! If you're looking for a genuine Moroccan experience away from the usual tourist spots, Moroccan Friends’ Guest House is a hidden treasure you won't want to miss. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into the heart of local life – warm, welcoming, and refreshingly real. This isn't a place for luxury seekers or those expecting hotel-style comforts. It's much more than that – it’s a home. The shared spaces (showers and bathrooms) were always clean, and the simplicity of the setup only added to the authentic vibe. It’s perfect for travelers who value cultural connection over creature comforts. The location is ideal if you want to live like a local. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful, always happy to share stories, offer local tips, and make you feel part. If you're a respectful, open-minded traveler looking to dive into Moroccan culture and live authentically, I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s not just a stay – it’s a beautiful chapter in your journey. Shukran to Moroccan Friends’ Guest House – I’ll be back!

MoroccoIt would be nice to have some olives with breakfast.
I enjoyed the breakfast, the stay was very comfortable, and I had the opportunity to meet new people and chat for a bit before sleep. The bed was very comfy, the sheets smelled good, and both the host and co-host were really nice people. The location was convenient, with all the must-visit sites nearby, and the beach isn't far away.

BelgiumVery friendly guy who spoke English fluently. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was good and we could eat on the rooftop. He was very helpful with information and guidance if you need any. It is in a quiet local neighbourhood with very cheap restaurants nearby. Because the accommation opened recently, it was a bit hard to find since they don’t have a sign yet (but they will change that so it is easy to find).

MoroccoAll is good
This place exceeded my expectations! The staff - Nawwaf, Khaled, and Ayoub - are genuinely warm and welcoming people who create such a friendly atmosphere. You'll often find them chatting with guests over tea and snacks, which really adds to the authentic Moroccan experience. The accommodation itself is spotless, with comfortable beds that guarantee a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. What I loved most was how sociable the other guests were - it felt like staying with friends rather than strangers. If you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture rather than just tourist attractions, this is the perfect place. The authentic experience and genuine hospitality make it a standout choice in Agadir. Highly recommended for travelers who want more than just a place to sleep!

United StatesI liked everything!
Thank you Nawwaf, Ayoub and Khalid for exceptional hospitality and service! From our initial contact, these hosts made sure every single detail was in place for my visit to Agadir. I have stayed in shared accommodation on 3 continents and this ranks number one! The entire property is sparkling clean and the beds are so comfortable. The photos of the property are very accurate. They offer multiple bathrooms, laundry facilities and, just off the tranquil rooftop terrace, a guest kitchen. Each day began with a tasty Moroccan breakfast and fresh tea was prepared for me whenever I wanted it. It's truly impressive to find hosts who care so much about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Satisfaction level = 100%. Highly recommend! (...and if they are fully booked, you can try their other property around the corner...)
