Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsVery clean, quiet and secure place, good working AC and internet. The workers are very nice people. Easy to get to all tourist places, many cafés and fast food restaurants around on the main boulevard just behind. Highly recommend.

ItalyHowever, when we booked the room it was written that it would include a private bathroom; this was not the case, the bathroom was shared with other rooms. So I would suggest to modify and specify this on the website to avoid surprises.
The hotel was clean and well positioned, the staff was available, welcoming and helpful. Also the room was very beautiful and spacious

LuxembourgThis is not a hotel, it’s just a random building! The location is terrible, on a very bad street full of noise at night, it’s impossible to sleep because of cars and motorbikes driving non-stop. I booked a room, but they gave me another one. When I asked to change, the answer was simply no. I couldn’t sleep properly for three nights. The pillow was horrible, I had neck pain for days. I asked to change it, no reaction at all. Hygiene is shocking: one day the cleaning lady dropped my towel on the dirty floor, picked it up, and still gave it back to me. That says everything about their standards.

SpainEverything was fine. I have no complaints about the hotel. My only issue was with regards to local taxis in the city centre. On my first night I flagged down over 15 yellow cabs to get a lift from the town to the hotel. I was in company with a Moroccan friend who explained where I needed to go. We even showed them the location on our phones. However, none of the taxi drivers knew the location, and were reluctant to use the GPS on their phones. I found it very strange that so many drivers did not know the location of the street or hotel. I ended up walking from town to the hotel instead.
I visited Tetouan for personal reasons opposed to a holiday and required only a room and base from which I could travel and carry out my tasks. This location was perfect for my needs. The property was very clean, equipped with a functioning shared kitchen, and several shared toilets/shower rooms that were finished to a very high standard. The room itself was very clean and had all that I required. Whilst the room did not have air-conditioning there was a portable electric fan which was a great addition and kept me cool (during summer). I was provided with fresh towels on request and the staff were extremely kind, with each new staff member offering their help and friendly service. The premises is situated just off a main road, which has several shops, cafes, take-aways, restaurants and a Mosque. This road also offers guests the opportunity to flag down taxis into the city centre, which is only 5-10 minutes away and cost less than 20MD (2 euro). As a fit and able person, it took me about 25-30 minutes to walk into town too. On the same street as the hotel I noticed several shops where I could buy groceries, and also a gym. A special mention to Nabil who contacted me prior to my flight to arrange a taxi from the airport to the venue. This cost 100MD (10 euros). Upon arrival at the airport the taxi driver was waiting for me outside. Nabil was also very helpful again as he arranged my taxi from the hotel to the airport. The taxi was required early hours (530am) and so the cost was 150MD (15 euros). Whilst locally people would say these prices are a little high, in Europe they are standard and allowed me to make my flight early without the stress of finding a yellow cab in the early hours of the morning. Since digital boarding passes can not be used in the Tetouan airport, due to lack of technology, Nabil helped me once more by printing my boarding pass for me and passing it to the taxi driver, who presented it to me upon my collection.
