As expected for Marrakech, the small streets to arrive to the accommodation are quite poorly lit during the night, but we did not feel unsafe.

Very friendly staff, they picked us up from the airport to the accommodation. Breakfast was available daily, including a few pastries, jam, juice and coffee. The location is very nicely designed, and the rooms were small but cute. The location was great, very close to the main square.

central location, despite being in the middle of busy streets filled with market and crowds of people, you cannot hear any noise at all, I enjoyed the authenticity of the place

Shower was hit and miss sometimes hot or sometimes no water at all.

It was exactly where we wanted to be near the main square.

Shower curtain and bedroom curtains not wide enough. Shower head holder not fixed properly to the wall.

Very ornate and impressive iron work (eg. railings & front door) and tiling. I got my own key to my room and the 24hr reception let you into the property if you ring the bell. Nice roof terrace with unusual glass roof over atrium.

The shared bathroom was 2 floors below the room, so it was annoying to walk down 2 flights of stairs every time to use the bathroom.

Great location inside the old medina. Everything was clean, good blanket for the cold in winter- and it was coold. Good bed, nice breakfast.

Initially I was disappointed with the fact the there was no heater equipment working in the shared or private room since it's really cold at night (booking.com page says that there is a/c). After talking about that with the reception, they allowed me and portable heater that helped a lot.

Casa del Sol it's a nice place to be based when I'm Marrakesh. Good location and friendly staff. The accommodations are pretty simple and fair for the price. Breakfast included was nice I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but the fact of not having the privacy (curtains) and space expected. There was also not much bathroom/showers available. All in the ground level. They offered the private single room for an honest extra. It was a good deal. I you like to thank Casa del Sol for staying here and hope they keep improving their services.

Please fix the door and shower in the single room, the shower is almost unusable and the lack of handle on the door makes it difficult to open and close.

Located really conveniently right in the centre of town. The staff were really helpful The breakfast was delicious.

Great location for the Jamal, staff really welcoming, informative and helpful. Really interesting views from the rooftop. Breakfast served by Fatima was superb and real bonus having use of kitchens

Some staff training can improve understanding and expectations of people coming from Europe. It’s better not to belittle your guests if they can’t open an old shower or tell them they can go somewhere else (I am sure the staff member would have been more politer with the white person of father’s age). I hope some staff training with awareness will work. Better to provide the bins in each room and check if body wash is full or nearly empty.

Enjoyed the simplicity of the place with friendly atmosphere. The best part was freshly made breakfast from Ms. Fatima with with smile who is an amazing lady. Mr. Salahuddin also was very cooperative and understanding.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast with homemade yogurt and pancake plus other items was delicious. It is quiet and I slept well.

Very attractive building. It provides a good idea of how the wealthy families used to live in this area. The tile throughout looks very nice. Everyone looked pretty comfy. There are a lot of food establishments around this location.

Well it's a riad so you can hear everything, especially when people are arriving at nighttime. That being said I'm a sensitive sleeper.

The location and the staff are amazing. Also the rooftop is quite nice

In the night you could hear people talk very loud and even in my private room I could hear people snoring in other rooms . The sound was echoing through the Riad
