How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewVery nice rooftop infinity pool, the depth is perfect for children but also good enough for adults. Breakfast was good, there was a lot of choice and you could get fresh eggs/omelets with several toppings. The rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping were fast and effective. There was always a parking spot available underground. The staff was very kind and helpful.
The gym is in desperate need of new equipment. The cardio machines are old and dirty, there is no ventilation, the gym is very small, the all-in-one weightlifting machine is very hard to use and it's worn out. The dumbbell handles are dirty. The layout of the rooftop swimming pool, bar and chairs make it so that the sunlight is obstructed after 3-4PM.

Only one elevator was working during my stay. It was a minor inconvenience since you have to wait a fair bit for the elevator everything else was great though

Verified reviewThe room was very clean and comfortable. We did not do breakfast but the evening meals we had was very good. We did not use the pool but enjoyed the bar facilities. The overall service was really good. I especially want to let you know that Loubna, on reception, was exceptional in her service. She was so professional, and pleasant, providing service with a smile. She was always so helpful with my many, many questions, going above and beyond her required duties. She made our stay so memorable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
Not being able to get a receipt for any cash conversion we did, at the time of the transaction was a little unusual. I like hard copies, but I was told that I had to wait until the final bill when we checked out, but it never showed up on there. I did not make a note of the transaction, so it was a little inconvenient when it came to reconciliations when we got home. Other than that, everything was great!

Verified reviewI had a very unpleasant stay at Kenzi Sidi Maarouf. I have never experienced a more incompetent staff at any hotel I have stayed in. At 6:45pm, when I returned to the hotel, I asked at the reception until what time the swimming pool was open. They replied until 7 pm, and there is nothing they could do about it, which was very frustrating. I still wanted to use the pool, even if it was just for 5 minutes. When I got upstaor I asked for a towel. First, they said they would bring me one, but then no one came. After asking again, they replied that there were no towels anymore and that the pool was closing. After asking what I should do now without a towel, they replied I could go and grab one from my room. They didn't care if I was all soaking wet or if I was cold or anything. The simple reply was, those are the rules. I am never visiting this hotel ever again! Advise: Stay at any other hotel in Casablanca. The staff is incompetent and very unfriendly. Customers here are not treated like customers at all! Horrible experience!!!
