Our stay in the hotel Irocha was excellent! Amazing place, wonderful stuff and beautiful hotel. The dinner was fantastic, the atmosphere and the music very relaxing. We also used the swimming pool which is super cool (pinterest style looking:). Would be happy to come back again.

This was my 4th stay at Irocha - we have been as a couple, with our kids, and most recently I took my mother who dreamt of visiting Morocco for her 87th birthday. The 2 days at Irocha were the most magical of our visit. Ahmed took us on an amazing visit of the local souk, then into the hills to a local farm where we were able to cook the most amazing Tajine. We will be coming back, I hope, many more times.

The hammam instructions were a little confusing.

The location of Irocha is beautiful, near enough for a day visit to several kasbahs but far away from the touristy crowds. We had the suite and appreciated having the sitting room to spread out. Breakfast was typical Moroccan fare with a pancake, toast, juice, coffee, eggs, and yogurt. Dinner was also good, and they accommodated my vegetarian request. The dining room offers lovely views of the valley and weather permitting, we could dine outside on the patio. The host was particularly helpful in offering suggestions for our day in Ait Ben Haddou. The secluded pool area offered shady and sunny places to relax and was refreshing to swim in. We also took advantage of the hammam, although there was some confusion about the right level of steam and we stayed longer than we might have liked.

The access drive, but this is Morocco so I just got on with it. Pool was very cold, cannot help but think some solar panels might improve this in the colder months.

The main dining room was quite cold for dinner, when we stayed there, and we did not really have warm water in the shower. The dessert was taste-wise not really made for western tongues, I would say. The room was indeed very small, but okay for one night.

We had a great stay at Maison d'Hôtes Irocha. The location was perfect for our ride back from Merzouga to Marrakesh. The place thrones above the valley and was in the sun until late evening for some perfect sunset views. The style of the place was super cool and we would have loved to have more time there.

Meals could be more substantial for the price. The pool was not heated during our stay.

The property has a scenic location, very tastefully decorated and the rooms are comfortable. There is plenty of common areas to relax both indoors and outdoors and the views are amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The dirt road up to the maison was a surprise, but no biggie.

This was definitely one of the best places we stayed while on our trip through Morocco. Our goal was simply to find a stopping point for the night before heading into back to Marrakesh. We wish we could have stayed longer! The maison is beautifully decorated and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The views from the terrace are fantastic, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The dinner was really delicious, better than any other we'd eaten at other riads/hotels. We had to leave early in the morning and appreciated the effort the staff made to ensure we had breakfast before leaving. Truly a gem of a place! Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

We had the most fantastic time at Maison d'Hotes Irocha, and even decided to book another night there on our way back to Marrakesh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and makes you feel relaxed immediately! Each and every corner of the place is thoughtfully and uniquely designed, with lots of charm and cozy corners. The terrace gives you an open view over the valley and Atlas mountains! The food is also very tasty and there are a couple easy hikes and walks you can enjoy near by. We would go back anytime, this place truly was a highlight in our trip. Thank you for the warm hospitality and attention to details! All the best.
