How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very noisy at night hard to sleep. Corridors are very dark. Had to keep requesting for towels daily as rooms were not cleaned daily.

Everything... The worst hotel ever. The FO staff were unprofessional, and I had to wait even though my room was ready. I booked a sea view room but got a lateral view, I could barely see the sea. The shower was broken, the room was dusty, and the breakfast was poor with hardly anything to eat. They didn’t refill the buffet. It was a nightmare, not a relaxing stay. Not recommended at all!!!!

Verified reviewWhen we arrived at 2am they told us they were fully booked and turned us away. I had to lie that l was pregnant in order for them to give us a room. After hours of going back and fourth they put us in a temporary room for the night. They mentioned that booking.com was responsible for the mixup as this happens a lot. 5 people were turned away on the same night we arrived. This caused us much distress and ruined our experience. We were extreamly tired the next morning that we missed our friend's wedding activity which had been paid for and lost money. We also missed out on the fun that we had travelled for therefore ruining our trip. The room that we got put in did not have any tea/coffee We always had to go and ask for fresh towels as we were not given any after every clean. We asked for an iron which we never reveived until the last day. By this time we didn't need it as our wedding guest dresses needed ironing. We had to wear creased dresses. The whole ecperience was terrible. We spent a lot of money only to have the worst experience. I would like to add that some of the members of staff were rude to us when it came to valeting our car. The treatment we experienced from one particular member of staff was racist. Our room faced the back roads which was very loud and made it difficult to get a good sleep. This was a horrible stay and l deserve to be compansated. Thank you for your time.

Verified reviewWe only liked the bar area and bar staff. We were also impressed with the laundry service and how fast it was.
The Hotel staff are so rude and do not greet you properly they ignore you when you’re waiting and just stare at you. it’s like your from another planet not another country. The rooms are depressing and the noise outside at night is extremely loud. The shower pressure is really low and when we ordered room service there was somebody’s left over food in our trolly ( it was disgusting) and when ordering room service they also asked us if we would like horse or cows milk? clearly making fun out of us. I love swimming but the amount of guests in the pool put me off as the pool is way to small for the size of the hotel and the amount of guests (there was no space) and begged the question on how clean it is? The most serious issue is my fragrance went missing from the bathroom, I never found it and after I reported it to the hotel guest services and they done nothing about it! so be sure to lock away all your valuables. The gym is diabolical it shouldn’t even be there, it needs to be refurbished. overall couldn’t wait to leave. The AC is really unhealthy and needs to be cleaned. We will will never go back.

In a very noisy area (heardable all night since locals drive-and-honk). But if you plan to use the pool - and it’s normal since the beach is crowded - you have to deal with Spanish reggaeton in a live concert volume. The Ibiza/Torremolinos/puntacana pool is good if you are in a college/bachelors party trip but the opposite of what you want if you are a family or plan to have a rest. So, in the end, choosing a hotel with a pool where you can swim and rest is a better choice than this crazy noisy, stressy, loud, and desagreable one; and even if you ask to turn off the music, they will not because a disco pool viva la vida loca is the way the pool manager thinks people like to live.

Room was not ready upon check in time around 3:30 they ask me to wait just to show that the checking time was not delayed in the system I waited more than 30 min upon the front desk agent request and after I went to the room the beds were not yet done , furniture need update , long wait for elevator , breakfast buffet was very poor, the rate is too high comparing to hotel service also the housekeeping opens the door without permission on check out day they start knocking the for and calling to inform that check out time is 12:30 I told them I waited for you to make the room ready during 2 hours 17 :00 they should train the staff how to deal with the guests
