Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaFrom the staff, to the breakfast/restaurant and the actual rooms, everything was exceptional, especially considering the price. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone. We stayed there for 3 nights and this was by far the best hotel experience we had in Morocco.

United KingdomThe only downside was the shower in our room, which leaked and left water across the bathroom floor — hopefully something they’ll fix soon. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it!
Cine House Fes is a fantastic place to stay — full of charm, with creative decor and a great location for the Medina. The on-site restaurant was a real highlight: delicious food and a cozy vibe. The staff were all incredibly friendly, cheerful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

TurkeyThe rooms might be small for three people (for example, if you’re traveling with kids). There were two of us in the room, but the third bed took up almost all the space
We (group of 4) traveled through Casablanca, Tangier, and Fes, and this hotel is by far the best of all the ones we stayed in. Every hotel included breakfast, but compared to the breakfast at Cine House, they were quite poor. Here, there is a menu, and you can choose any dish you want! Plus, there’s no need to waste time searching for places to eat in the evening because you can order dinner from the menu. There’s also the option to have dinner right in your room. The hotel looks nice and clean, and the shower is great (especially compared to other places). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful

GreeceThe room wasn't clean, and the toilet wasn't attached to the floor, so it was moving while sitting.
The bed and the room were big and comfortable. A big Bravo to the staff of the hotel which helped us a lot. The room had the essentials, tv table, comfortable bed and soap.

PhilippinesEverything went well, the staff are friendly and always smiling, the room is just right except the water leakage in the bathroom, which I am not sure where the source is (did not investigate) from the shower or bidet? I don't know. The location is OK, easy to find and close to Taxi stand, there are mini stores nearby, and plenty of restaurants around. The breakfast was included in the booking, and it was so good, you can select from the menu of Cinema Cafe - We also had dinner in the cafe when it was raining, big portion, affordable, and tasty. Except the rice ✌️😄

PolandThe room feeled a bit wet, it was impossible to dry the bathroom and to get rid of the humidity from the room (even though I left windows wide open for the entire day). This causes the room to smell bed. My bed sheets were a bit stained. There were tiny ants on the floor.
The location is great and there is a separte entrance to the staircase so you don’t have to pass the reception multiple times.

SpainWe had the pleasure of staying at this charming small hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and personal attention. The room was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was ideal, tucked away in a peaceful area but still close to local attractions, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The owners clearly take great pride in ensuring their guests have a memorable experience, and it shows in every detail. If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly, and comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. I’ll definitely be returning!
