I did have a hard time locating the hostel as there is no signages. No Kitchen. No Refrigerator. No vending machines or sort of basic hostel needs.

Central old town location. Kinda clean and seems new renovated building for a hostel. The stay tho is good for two nights.

What I liked the least was the lack of attention from the hosts when some complaints were made, for example about the bathroom cleanliness. Of course, it was the fault of other guests, who also talked very loudly at 2 a.m. while I was trying to sleep, and even shouted in the street. But the hosts could have been more considerate regarding the complaint or at least spoken to the other guests about not disturbing the people staying there. In most places, there are quiet hours to avoid bothering others, it's also a matter of basic manners and common sense. There were also motorbike noises at night sometimes, but if I closed the window, it blocked out the noise, which was good. Other than that, I think it was tolerable for 2 nights. Oh, and finding the accommodation was also a challenge, but I recommend following the road from the Palace Hotel, then taking the first right and the first left, and voilà. I also had help from a local the first time I went, who was incredibly kind and helped me find the way. I would recommend having a sign with the name of the place.

For 2 nights, I think it was a good choice because I always like to change accommodations, and I fell in love with the photos of this place. The room met my expectations, it was clean and perfect for me as a solo traveler. The price-to-quality ratio for a private room was worth it. The room is cute, and the building is huge, with a nice rooftop (a little bit forgotten but cool) and an outdoor area to dry your clothes. There’s also a fridge, which is super helpful and available for everyone to use. There are additional bathrooms on the other floors as well. I think the place has a lot of potential, and if the hosts pay more attention to a few details, it could improve its ranking and attract more guests. The place is big and beautiful :) congrats!

While it’s not too hard to locate, a sign on the wall of the hostel would help, as it can be a little hard to find initially

We had a great stay at Hostel Tanger Medina! It’s perfectly located right inside the old Medina, just a stone’s throw away from the charming Petit Socco—super convenient for exploring the heart of Tangier. The room was comfortable and cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept the shared bathroom was. For a hostel, this place definitely punches above its weight in terms of quality and cleanliness.

New mattresses are very firm. Staff on the day were not very 'present' - no a big issue, we had to wait a few hours for towels and top sheets. Response to booking.com messages lacking.

Good price. Very clean. Seems to have been renovated. New beds and sheets/pillows. We had a triple room for 2. Great roof top views. We parked a motorcycle nearby just outside Medina on the downhill road secured car park for 30 Dirham

Show me , any location in the middle of a Medina is a no go from now on. With a fully packed motorcycle it is a real nightmare.

Very central everything is advertised. Shower and toilets very clean.

The address is correct on Google Maps, but the door is unmarked. it just needs a small sign about the door to indicate it's the right door, otherwise no complaints. a really good value for money choice.

it was in a great location, clean and tidy. the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The facilities were great and the shower was really good. I slept well both nights and had a good siesta, too, but the mattress was very firm. maybe for some that wouldn't have been good, just something to consider.

The beds, the towels and the bathrooms were dirty. A lot of mold inside our room. Very noisy from the other guests, and the street.

Good location, not very hard to find, easy to communicate with the owner.

It was a little hard to find, especially using Google Maps. And we had to wait for a while to use the bathroom ( because it was shared between 4 rooms)...

It was a very nice experience. The hostel was in the heart of the old city of Tanger, a little hard to find, but worth it—a clean and spacious room (for 3). The best part was the terrace with the breathtaking view of Marina, the port, and the old city...

I didn't like the lack of a sign in front. I was wondering around to locate it. Also in Morocco people like to feed the cats on the stret, and the smell was terrible coming out through the front door.

The location was good and the place was alright. Though the room was a bit small, it was comfortable.

For the money I paid, I could get better, the room was spacious (for two people although I was alone). The room is humid, and not well aired, and not sunny at all. So it smelled a bit. The bed was the stiffest. Also the hostel has no signs and is hidden in the medina streets.

    Nice staff!

The place is great and fairly clean. The location is also amazing, everything u may need is near u. The staff were so nice and welcoming especially yassine, he helped us with everything we needed and guided us to the hostel as it was a bit tricky to find. The place is overall nice for the price. Nothing was bad, but I suggest they send a detailed map how to find the place within the tiny streets (google maps not good enough, I suggest print a google earth shot of the area and pinpoint the hotel (no sign on tje hotel either, maybe against burglary ? It is fabulous feeling to get lost in the old city but it could create problems one day, especially for women alone. I also suggest some interior plants here and there, that would be even better at low cost.

Location, real old architecture in old city, feel like a local 100 years ago, excellent tilework.

The keys were mixed, and we had an issue with close and open our room. We felt insecure due to the room key issue, and we were unable to go out during the night. The towels were dirties. The communication with the host was a little bit difficult, but in the end, all were solved somehow. Thanks for all!

The fan, wifi, and good furnished were good. The tails were lovely and beautiful. Rooftop amazing.

When we stayed the property was being renovated so looked like a painting site. The beds were brick hard like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom shower flooded and there was no drain. The stairs are exceptionally steep and narrow with huge uneven treads so difficult to manage. There is no signage that shows where the property is and none at the front of the property making it very difficult to locate. Although we asked the manager for our change twice from the city tax payment, he did not bring it and even though this was only 10 dirham it says a lot of bad things to us about his honesty.

The view from the roof terrace
