Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MoroccoThe host is doing great job and the location is very close by if u looking for something traditional and historical however I would recommend to take a guided tour guide or at least be with group of friends to navigate the area as is very hard to find your way back and transportation wouldn’t be easy to find and won’t be possible to get you next to Riad as the old town streets are pretty small.
I want to say that the host Omar is very friendly and very accommodating when it comes to ask for any queries, as well he’s advised about places that you must visit on town, I would say as well the housekeeper she is doing great job and keeping the property clean and organized.

United KingdomWe stayed for 11 nights so we experienced the place more than most other reviewers. The location is surrounded by 4 or 5 mosques so it will get noisy at some times. Bring earplugs (which I did). If you are on the first floor and there are guests above you, you will hear them at night. We booked a Suite Double Room, which we expected to be a Double Room. It's not, it's a single room. (There's no Interconnecting room(s) available). There's no fireplace we could see, the staircases are very narrow, we had no wardrobe per se (just a small cabinet). We had towels and sheets for free (contrary to what it says on Booking). The room is small, there's no fridge, no chairs, no bedside table, no iron you can borrow and definitely no safe. You can print 1 page for 1 euro (handy for Ryanair tickets), you can wash 1kg of laundry for 4 euros. The food + drink is cheap but there's only so many variations of tagines I can take. 12 Euros for 3-course and 1 euro per drink is a bargain especially as there's no compulsory 10% service fee. The free breakfast is limited as well. There was no fruit for example or cereals on offer but that's a minor inconvenience. The biggest sore point for us - other than the size of the rooms - was the bathroom. The toilet was a tad wobbly and the fact that it is a wet room was not something we got used to, especially as you often had to shower twice a day because of the heat. Note that Touria has a Tours service (called Touriatours dot com) and can arrange for airport transfers. Omar can also introduce you to his hairdresser who looks just like Messi. Remember that there's no parking nearby (the Medina is walking only), no lifts anywhere, no wine or champagne (booking.com got it wrong) and no spa onsite.
For sheer value for money, it is unbeatable. Omar, the receptionist and all-round handyman, is what makes the venue special. A true gem of a person (he deserves a tip and a pay rise). We genuinely felt at home.

United StatesThe only concern we had was that our rooms were on two different levels and the stairs are steep. Omar was nice to give us the ground floor for our senior guest, but it was a smaller size room and it was hard to maneuver large suitcases in it. Bathrooms are small and older, water in the shower was cold. Bathrooms could definitely be revamped, but overall it is clean.
Location is good, close to the souk; Breakfast was delicious, simple, and fresh. Our host, Omar, was excellent, very welcoming and friendly. He stayed up late to accommodate our late check in and woke up early for our early check out. Has air-conditioning.

MoroccoNothing - truly exceptional stay
We are grateful that our daughter booked this place for us of our first time in Fes. Omar could not have been more helpful to us. He looked after our needs and requests with graciousness. He was very helpful in helping us find restaurants in various price ranges, walked us to and from the place where the taxi had dropped us and our luggage off, guided us to the Touria, called places we were going to for someone to walk us to and from so that we wouldn't get lost, and much more. Being older travelers, we appreciated that he frequently checked back to see if I needed to pause on the way. We appreciated the artisans' work in this place. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have reading lights on each side. I believe the friendly dear woman who cooked and cleaned was named Fatima. She, too, was so kind and prepared a Moroccan salad and got bread for us when we just needed a bit to eat prior to resting and then exploring. Breakfasts were tasty, and she remembered our preferences for coffee and teas. Shower shoes were provided along with towels, shampoo, and lotions.we peeked into a couple of open rooms as we left and they also looked inviting. Be prepared to explore, duck your heads sometimes, move into doorways as donkeys, carts, or motorbikes pass by in the narrow alleyways in this ancient interesting part of Fez. Always know that you're retuning to a friendly, welcoming, cool, comfortable place to stay. As a daughter sending my parents off to a new city by themselves, Omar and the staff helped me preplan their transfers to/from the train station, arrange a hammam experience, and ensure their room was accessible to them. But hearing from my parents once there about the exceptional service gave me peace of mind that they were being well-cared for! I would send future guests there without hesitation.

GermanyIt is pretty loud because of the thin walls. So especially in the evening when you try to fall asleep, this could become a problem.
The Riad is very well maintained with a wonderful smell. Bed is comfortable and rooms are comfortable. For people who are okay with a shared shower and toilet room, this is absolutely perfect regarding the quality for price. Location is perfect in the médina.

We had a wonderful stay at Fes Touria Palace riad in Fes. From the moment we arrived, Omar, the host, made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. The riad's location is perfect — very close to the local market and conveniently near parking, which made exploring the area easy. The facilities were excellent, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Fes. It’s a fantastic choice for comfort, convenience, and great service.

GermanyNothing, everything was good.
Location is really nice, right in the medina. Our room was comfortable, nice decorated and they provided many blankets, so it was not too cold even though we stayed in winter. It was really quiet at night. The owner was really friendly and you can book tours through them if you want. The breakfast in the morning is delicious, also we got 2 different breakfasts in the 2 mornings we have been there.

I really liked my stay in Riad Fes Touria Palace. I felt there like home away from home. The building itself is really beautiful and well curated. Huge plus for the presence of Omar who was always available and ready to help with all the questions I had. Huge plus for the breakfasts and beautiful terrace and the views for the city.

PortugalEverything! The host (Omar) was always very friendly, helpful and pleasant to be around. The breakfast is great, with eggs, fresh baguette, msemen or other kind of pastry, coffee, juice,...it's a feast. And the facilities are very beautiful, both the common room and the terrace are comfortable, colourful and traditionally decorated. The room is also very clean, beds are comfortable as well. There is hot water with good pressure. And, on top of that, WiFi works great (60-100mbps, depending on where you are). This was very important to me since I was working remotely as a digital nomad. Location wise, it's within the maze that Fez is, just don't trust any stranger on the street saying that a given street is closed, it's almost always a lie!! In the end, I was supposed to stay here 1 night and I ended up staying 5, I highly recommend it!

CanadaThe faucet of the sink in the bathroom is leaking and water is dripping on the floor while in use. The drain in the shower is slow so we must leave the drain cover open when taking a shower, and they seem to know about this problem. Some areas in the bathroom need better cleaning. The sound from the road is quite loud if you let the window open. We got a very loud noise at 3 am(only 1 night)that someone was shouting from the road.
The staff is friendly and the room is spacious. Hot water for the shower is good. Breakfast is good and big. Omar is really helpful when we ask for help or ask for suggestions. Communicate with us very well before we arrive. The slippers that they provide are good because the floor is quite cold. The decoration of the common area and inside the room is very nice and colorful.
