Nothing really, it is a bit far from everything but taxis are really cheap. You can easily walk to most of the places in Agadir, about 45-minute walk to the beach and 30 minutes walk to the Soukh. Its in a suburban area with kids playing at night and a rooster in the early morning, so some earplugs are recommended.

Me and my partner spent only two nights in Agadir and staying in this family house was our highlight. We loved the vibes and atmosphere of the house. It was easy to know people staying there while sharing breakfast and dinner made with love by the owner. You can experience homemade cooking, and eat like a Moroccan family would. I highly recommend this place if you want to meet other people and have good time in Agadir. Thanks so much to Esther for organizing a taxi pickup from the airport and for the amazing hospitality.

Literally everything. A wonderful hostess (both the one from England and the manager of the property). The breakfast she prepared was perfect! The best value for money! For us, it was amazing – next time we’ll definitely come back, even if it’s far from the beach 💁🏻‍♂️

The only thing to be mindful of is that you might struggle to find the place so make sure you have a phone with google maps and the location pinned so you can find the address. I wrote the address on a piece of paper and showed it to a taxi driver but he didn’t know where it was so be prepared to give directions using google maps.

This place was the best part of my trip, the house is very well kept by very nice people (shout out to Esther from England who was a volunteer there at the time) The food was gorgeous, cooked by the family and all guests, volunteers and owners sat together around a table and ate together. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere and a great place to get your bearings and learn about Moroccan culture especially if you’re visiting the country for the first time. The surrounding neighbourhood is very authentic, it is affordable and safe and people in the surrounding shops and markets are chilled out and respectful.

Once or twice, it wasn't completely easy to get the water at a stable warm temperature, so maybe making that work easily would be nice. The rest of the times, it was all good.

Oh, the people! I expected to visit a Moroccan Family House, I ended up becoming a family member. You made my trip 10 times better, but also somehow worse because you set the bar so high that anywhere else I went, no one could match you. So I had to come back. I met so many amazing people from all around the world. The breakfast from Tata Saadia was so good, with freshly made moroccan omelet, olives, amlou, jam, loads of bread, and endless tea. I grew up in Morocco, and I can tell you that this house represents our values and the hospitality you hear about Moroccans. And yes, as they described it well, this is literally a family house. Expect to have the family around for dinner, enjoy amazing conversations and pet cats. Nevertheless you get full privacy in your room and the cleanliness and good Wifi that I had in any hotel. The neighborhood is humble, conservative and very safe. To respect the locals, please avoid very slim and very short clothes, both men and women. No one will tell you anything if you wear that, but respecting the locals is appreciated. A market is 2min walking from the house, with most delicious fruits and fair prices, but also anything you need to buy can be bought from kiosks (kiosks have the same prices as supermarkets in Morocco) Some 10min by car is the Souk El Had, one of the biggest and most famous souks of Morocco. Parking in front of the house is possible, very safe and free of cost. All my special requests were accepted, free of charge!

Maybe the bathrooms could be a little better maintained - I went in a couple of times and there was no toilet roll! Only a minor problem. ALSO we had the room next to the volunteers and we felt terrible if we went in there early in the morning incase someone had just had the night shift etc …

Seriously consider staying here if you go to Agadir! Although it’s not REALLY central, taxis are easy and cheap, and the city isn’t walkable anyway so you’d need taxis to get from place to place regardless. The house is run by a combination of family and volunteers, who were all so lovely and so attentive. We left feeling like we’d want to see everyone again , and we learnt so much about Moroccan culture from them. Amazing food, communal dinners which are made by the Moroccan family, a great chance to get to know other people at the hostel (and so affordable) as well as the brekkie which was a great start to the day!! All in all cannot fault this

The accommodation was super cute and we loved how we got welcomed. The breakfast and dinner was super delicious and was cooked by the aunt of the owner. It was a good way to connect to the other guests and to get to know the culture.

I really appreciated the family vibes, the delicious tajines prepared by Haja, and the kindness of the volunteers, especially Oscar and Elena. It was truly a great space for cultural exchange and mutual respect.

It’s just perfect ! We were a couple with a child of 2 yo. Even before arriving, we already felt special attention from Esther. She is soo kind and helpful. We even had a colouring book and pencils as a present and they put a football ball to play with local children in the evening which we did actually, they are also really kind and played with the baby even il he was little. The dinner was amazing ! I think it was our best dissnner in Morocco. The atmosphere is so kind, all the family members are really welcoming. The view from the terrace is wonderful. Our baby had a medical problem, so we went to hospital during the night and Esther kindly offers us our room stay till the time we return and even proposed to stay at the room one more night if needed. We were really touched. We will definitely return to Agadir again just to stay one more time in this wonderful place!

There isn't much around the property. It is a residential area with not many shops or restaurants. Not a huge problem as you can get all essentials and there is a lively market street nearby. Getting to the beach or the city centre is easy with a cheap taxi.

The food was great (breakfast and dinner). The rooftop (where meals are served) really promoted socialising with the other guests and it was a great experience overall. Esther (who was managing the place) and the volunteers were super helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a great environment for a solo traveller looking to meet people.

Not issues per se, but things to improve. It would be nice to have a small private locker for each guest (There were little storage spaces available per each room, but they are shared). Not an issue for me, but could be for others, there are stairs and no lift.

It has been an amazing host, very welcoming and warm. As they rightfully explain, they are a family house, and not a hostel, but the experience has been event better than when I have been to hostels. Before I arrived to Morocco they were already in contact with me and solved all my questions, they even offered to arrange pick up from the airport trough a taxi, however I used this option to get back to the airport only. I arrived at 4PM and they were instantly available to host me. I was in the mixed shared room, everything was clean and organised. One night I even had the room all by myself. There are different toilets available, there is a kitchen and fridge that is shared and you can use. Breakfast was included and excellent (Is at 10 am, which might be too late if you have plans in the morning, but it was nice for the day I had my flight back). I paid 40 dirhams each night (4 euros) for dinner, which is a 9pm and they accommodated me as a vegetarian (They can also do it for vegans). I met a lot of nice people, particularly the volunteers. I was travelling alone as a woman, and I felt super secure. Easy to find on google maps. The pictures are true to what it is.
