Magical place, where you feel like at home. It is very humble place, but Larbi and his brother make everything for you to feel fantastic. Food is delicious. Highly recommend this place for people who want to enjoy real desert, not commercial places.

It was a great adventure in the heart of the Sahara Desert! Larbi is an excellent host who goes above and beyond to make your journey unforgettable. Everything was well organized — the food was tasty and abundant, the camels were calm, and the Berber melodies we sang around the campfire will stay in our hearts for a long time. Our family, including a 3 and 8-year-old, just returned from a magical trip with M'Hamid Sahara Camp! Arriving in M'Hamid, we were delighted to find a vibrant cultural festival in full swing. Cheikh Larbi's team went above and beyond, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable exploring the festivities. We then embarked on an incredible 3-night dromedary safari. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. He led us through breathtaking landscapes, we even saw gazelles! The kids loved the gentle dromedaries. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight. With zero light pollution, the sky was an endless tapestry of stars - truly awe-inspiring! Cheikh Larbi, who grew up in the desert, shared his vast knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much about the ecosystem, the stars, and Berber culture. The camp itself was an oasis of comfort and tranquility, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a father, I felt confident in the safety and security of the environment. We were treated like family. Highly recommend M'Hamid Sahara Camp for families seeking an authentic and unforgettable Sahara adventure!

One could miss a "normal" bathroom with running water but it's a desert so it added a taste of authenticity to our stay.

Wonderful real desert experience!!! You can get there by normal car (no 4x4 needed) though you have to drive carefully as the last part of the way is a gravel road. Larbi is a great host who will tell you about the real nomad life. The conditions are basic but it is close to real nomad life not in a style of a luxury tent. Bright stars at night, quietness and a very nice and honest host. I am sure one day we will be back to go with him to Erg Chegaga. Thank you Larbi for your kindness and stories you shared with us.

Due to strong rains before and during our stay the toilets and shower were not functional but not worry reparations are soon to take place.

The location is perfect, right next to erg Lehoudi. Larbi is the nicest person we have met in Morocco and he takes great care of everything. But please keep measure of your expectations look at the price and assume the best for this price level but not a luxury camp.

Our guide was an exceptional one. He made us feel at home in his camping. The view was astonishing, the camping is very well built and decorated. It is impressive how it was built, so far into the desert. The staff food was very good and the hospitality is something else. We bought a 2 day tour with the host . He has very good prices and tried very hard to please us during the stay. He did it very well. He showed us how nomads live, beautiful oasis and a sand desert in chigaga which is astonishing. He guide us through the desert in a 1 hour walk. Very useful to have a guide, so you can avoid snakes and other dangerous things. At the end we shared a Portuguese wine with a beautiful tagine and sang nomad songs around the fire 10 out of 10

The camp's location is stunning. Larbi and his brother, the hosts, are incredibly kind and sincere individuals. They're ready to go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience during your stay. The food was exceptional. While the camp remains quite basic, it's evident that it was built with passion and attention to detail. I will be back for sure.

The camp is wunderfully located near the dunes. It is so quiet and peaceful. Larbi made us feel very welcomed and at home. He always made sure we had everything we needed :) also he took us on a tour into chigaga wich was one of the best experiences ever for us so far! We had a great time and would definetely come back. Hopefully we will manage sometime :)

It was unfortunately a bit windy during my stay, so I was somewhat confined to the tent most of the time. I was able to go wander about the dunes completely alone

Great location at the foot of the dunes. Friendly, attentive service. Excellent tajine for dinner. It is accessible by small road if you have a car or scooter. If not, then like me, you may be offered a ride on the back of the owner’s brother’s motorcycle from Tagounite, which was an adventure in itself.

The camp is located in beautiful place next to the sand dunes. The owner is a super host, who makes your stay very comfortabel from the first seconds. Night on the desert is full of magic and this place has everything you need there. 100% reccomended

Hosts are amazing! Great atmosphere by the campfire at night. Food is good. Little primitive ofcourse (no shower, no electricity) but no problem for us. Only downside was that the outdoor lounge that was mentioned on booking.con was not there, but we could just sit on a carpet no problem. We really enjoyed our stay because of the great hosts and their hospitality!

We had the best time with Larbi and his brother who are genuine Berbers. We drunk a lot of "Berber whiskey" aka tea, they made us the best tajine and breakfast was delicious too. We also got an amazing insight to the Berber's desert life. The dunes are right next to the campsite and nightsky full of stars. Bed was clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back!

It was an amazing experience, we loved the camp and the surrounding desert. The food prepared by hosts was always excellent, we ate amazing Tajine, couscous and moroccan salad! The tents were well prepared also for a bit colder nights, we were always cozy and warm. Larbi, his brother and all the other people were extremely friendly and welcoming!

I was instantly mesmerised... the amazing hospitality and the spectacular location... the Sahara Desert and it's people... making inspired unique and absolutely unforgettable experiences... This my second stay at Camp Excursion Sahara... I am very happy to receive the same attentive and considerate welcome as last year... a comfortable traditional nomad bivouac ... a home from home for my stay...
