I stayed at Dar Zin for one night. The room was small but cozy and nicely arranged. However, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t reach the first floor, which was a bit inconvenient. The shower needs some maintenance, and the towel provided was torn, which suggests that some attention to basic guest amenities is needed. On a positive note, Imane at the reception was incredibly welcoming and full of energy. She went above and beyond by arranging a tour guide for me upon request—her support was truly appreciated. The location is excellent, just steps away from Bab Boujloud and the Medina, which makes it easy to explore the heart of Fes. With a few improvements, this place has the potential to offer a much better guest experience.

The bathroom had a bad smell from the drainage. We had to keep the door closed all the time. You got used to it though after some time :)

The location was perfect. You’re right by the blue gate which is perfect. Also the staff was super kind. We were very welcomed and taken care of well by everyone.

The only girl who was speaking English left and I couldn’t communicate. They washed my clothes and asked for money, I asked how much and they told me whatever you can give. I gave them and was told that it’s not enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

The AC is great, the location as well. The room was pretty clean

The staff are young and still learning so take these comments as constructive, breakfast needs a bit of an upgrade add an egg and a roll and jam and you will have a great breakfast. The room that we were given was not comfortable situated right outside th communal kitchen and was very noisy, the room was not acceptable for two,people too small, we stayed 6 nights I ama genius with booking.com and was given the worst room and people stayed 1/3 nights got better room, so something they need to think abiut look after longer reservations.

It is located near the Bab Boujloud (Blue) gate, on walking distance from Fes El Bali medina. - Possible to request airport pick up service. - Easy communication with the host through Whatsapp for all your questions during your stay. - Clean bedding and room. - Possible to book all kinds of tours (like Merzouga dessert tour)

The shower and mirror were covered in scale, it would literaly take someone 1 minute just to use some cleaning detregent and clean it what would really improve impression. Also, bathroom gets flooded when showering and I just can not set water to right temperature. After all, its not expensive so I cant argue much but some minor investments in bathroom would get this object much better rating

You get what you pay for: it is basic and I was really cold and a bit uncomfortable (they just pushed two twins together to make a double) at night. Some furniture is broken and the bathroom is cramped. But can't complain too much for the cheap price!

Came for one night because my original hostel was so noisy I couldnt take it! Happy to say this place is super calm and quiet. Breakfast is included, but unfortunately I had to leave early the next day so I didnt get to try it. Staff/family who runs this are super nice and welcoming. Location is fantastic. Close to everything, but not right in the thick of it.

It was our first time in Morocco, as two travelling young women and we had a really great time during our stay at Dar Zin! The staff was really lovely and welcoming, they gave us many suggestions and were always ready to help us. The position is perfect, quiet, safe and reachable, just two minutes walk away from the main entrance of the Medina. You’ll find anything you may need really close by. Also, the terrace and the view are very nice and it’s beautiful to have breakfast on there.

Room is clean n comfortable. With aircond. Breakfast is good. Location is very near at Bab Boujloud, before the entrance. So its very easy to get food. The staff is very welcoming. They can speak english.

I searched the place prior to the booking and it was as presented, no surprises. Having to pay in cash was an inconvenience.

The location was perfect for me, right at the Median super convenient. The staff made me feel welcome and they were very accommodating. I had to stay an extra night and the staff made it happen.

the room is tiny and dark with no windows. toilets aren’t great either: there is no such a proper shower. smallest sink ever seen. it’s an ok place if you don’t have high expectations and plan to stay 1-2 nights
