    Nothing

My stay at Dar Timitar let me feel to be in Paradise. The family is very hospitality, kind, friendly and helpful. The location is gorgeous, the room beautiful and cosy and the breakfast as well as the dinner are tasting so good. In every sence I had an authentic Berber experience at Dar Timitar and am sure to come back to this wonderful place. Also as a single traveller not driving a car Ahmed was very helpful and organized a taxi driver who picked me up in Kelaa M'Gouna. With the same kind driver I was able to explore the Valley of the Roses which is simply wonderful. I am thanking Ahmed and Hafida with her 4 children from my heart for my unforgettable stay at Dar Timitar. Franziska

A lovely, rustic hotel perched on a cliff overlooking the Valley of Roses. Staff were very accommodating, and the food was delicious. Incredible views from the many terraces and garden.

Dar Timitar was one of our most unforgettable stays in Morocco. We had a very beautiful room with a great view of the valley. Ahmed and his staff are so friendly and they cooked a warm and tasty dinner for us. We would love to come again and stay for more time:) Thank you Ahmed for this nice experience!

Again speaking French would really help to bond with the hosts and understand all the tips they want to explain.

First of al amazing view!!!! Nice staf who really wants to help you out to explain nice places to visit. It is a plus to speak French, but we kind of figured it out. The effort was already very appreciated!

A bit of a drive to get to the location, but worth it for the incredible views. Only regret was not staying longer!

Incredible views over the valee de roses and kalaat m'gouna. Very lovely hosts, accommodated our late check-in and gave us some mint tea and water after our long journey. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spacious and pretty. 10/10

    It was great place.

An amazing view over the rose valley! A place for peaceful retreat to read a book while enjoying the view. The service was great and the breakfasts and dinners were some of the best during our trip in Marroco.

Ahmed and his family were very welcoming. Ahmed phoned to find out if the Tizi N’Tait Hmed mountain pass was open for me. Such a relaxed atmosphere. The whole family were lovely and I would definitely stay again. The view from the terrace and room was sensational. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious.

The tagine dinner was small and a bit expensive Breakfast was ok, but the bread was cold and perhaps a day old. Be advised the hotel is accessed via a 1.6km dirt road off the main road. Water pressire varies from zero to minimal. I was stuck with soapy hair for a while until the water returned.

Beautiful view from the terrace overlooking the river valley below. The room was fine and wifi worked well.

Friendly and generous hosting family. Location with the best view in 10 days of Moroccan trip, also a bit desolated without other houses around. Really home made dinner on the terrace at sunset with view over the valley and mountains.

Dar Timitar is located halfway up Rose Valley and on a plateau overlooking the valley. It is a 2km drive on a dirt road off the main paved road but the views, wonderful family, delicious meals, and beautiful/tastefully appointed accommodations (one of the nicest decorated rooms of our trip) are well worth the effort. Beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Terraces are perfect for not only daytime views but sunset and excellent stargazing at night.

the most primitive bathroom ever had, very low water pressure and very little water gave out from shower head. bathroom design is sub-standard. the 2 km dirt road leading to the hotel has no lights but beside a sharp cliff, it’s dangerous to drive to and from the hotel after sunset

panorama view, good to sit at the terrace to enjoy breakfast and dinner

Service is excellent. Food is delicious. Staff is very friendly. The view on the roses valley from room and terrace is awesome. From there we could visit in three days three gorges: Toudgha, Dades and Amejgag. The walk in roses valley nearby is very enjoyable. People in the region in general are very welcoming and friendly. We are far here from tourist traps culture in big cities like marrakech. Very safe part of the country, and very telegenic.

the terrace seemed to be (at least parts of it) under construction

this was the one of two properties during our tour through Marokko we stayed at where we were greeted by a woman - which I personally found very enjoyable; I wish more hotels would employ women. The view is amazing, the food was good - the room was big enough for 4 people, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We got a good recommendation for a hike in the rose valley, which was easy to find and very beautiful.

Amazing place! It’s rustic but the location is absolutely breathtaking. Food is really good and the coffee is probably the best we had in Morocco. If you like to organise a trip through the valley of roses with a local guide, they know just the guy!
