Room was 3 stories up, 50 step+ not mentioned in description . Steps of varying heights, 200 to 300mm high making it dangerous at times. Breakfast up more stairs and was basic but they do not carry or serve milk. No TV or fridge available. In the Medina, there are plenty of areas to eat but no alcohol available till you get out of the Medina

Comfortable bed and well laid out. Very helpful staff. Close to food and market stalls. Walking distance to ferry. Fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast.

A bit overpriced, yet understandable given the season.

Authentic and beautiful room design. Personnel was great and very present when in need. I enjoyed thoroughly the stay as well as having my breakfast delivered by the hands of the hosts with care on the rooftop.

The location is actually good. It's just the parking. If you are driving, there is an available private parking, however it can be crazy busy. The walk to the hotel can be a journey depending on how much luggage you are carrying. If just backpacking then it's an easy walk. This area should have public porters like Essaouira.

Welcoming staff and cleanliness. Checkin was easy and staff was always attentive to your needs. The top terrace is very nice especially the morning view of the bay / marina. Location inside the medina.

The only reason we didn't put 10/10 is that the toilet was behind a curtain so it's quite intimate! But we loved the hotel overall.

Really friendly and welcoming staff and a great stay - we would definitely come back. And a great breakfast and views from the roof terrace.

Breakfasts were good but could be varied a bit more to include some non sweet options like local cheese or omelette.

What a great place to stay. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and my room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I loved sitting on the rooftop in the mornings and evenings, listening to the soundscape of Tangier. I would absolutely recommend Dar Sekka!

Clean, well presented, central to the old Medina and close to all the cultural sights and sounds. Staff, and the owner, was extremely pleasant and helpful.

We slept incredibly well, although the room did not have a window, because we like to sleep in the dark and the aircon worked very well. The staff were so kind and the location was amazing. Breakfast was simple but good.

The only issue was that we had a little trouble finding it when we first arrived. But they had given us detailed instructions, so it was our problem of not knowing quite how to follow them.

The location was wonderful, easy to walk to everything in the Medina and the Kasbah, as well as to find taxis. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The terrace is beautiful with an amazing view. We loved spending time up there.

Hosts were amazing ! The location is perfect and the rooftop offers a magnificent view. Should we go back to Tanger, we will definitely book this riad again !

The curtain for the toilet was a little awkward as friends staying together - it wasn’t completely private and a little revealing.

No aircon in room. Had to sleep with windows open which let in quite a bit of noise from alley below. This was not a major issue as we are good sleepers

Excellent location not hard to find, but best if you have light bags as access right to the door in taxi is not an option in the medina. Also the stairs up from the front door are steep.

Our host, Meriam was incredibly nice and was very sweet to us. We immediately felt welcomed, and were very comfortable from the start. Beautiful hotel and also wonderful views from the terrace. Definetly will return again!

Bathroom lacked privacy as it only had a curtain separating it from the bedroom and the shower head was very low. Watch your head going up and down the stairs if you are tall!

Free breakfast on the lovely terrace. Located in the Medina, however close to access from the waterfront. Lovely hosts. Cute, colourfully decorated rooms.

One bed had a mattress that was not comfortable. By chance there was a third bed where I could sleep well.

It's indeed cozy. One of the rooms had only an interior facing window which is actually right onto the hallway. This is noted in the description but could be made more clear. Toilet is in the room but only separated by a curtain.

Cozy and clean. Great rooftop views from both inside the dining room and on the terrace. Convenient location down a side street so not as noisy but not too hard to find. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They let us store our bags after we checked out.

Dar Sekka is conveniently located in the Medina. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful. Driss and the staff were helpful and friendly. I fully recommend Dar Sekka
