Everything was incredible! Staff were so attentive, breakfast was amazing, as was location. Road felt very luxurious and classy Very peaceful beside the river but close proximity to everything. Will definitely come again.

I highly recommend this Dar! From the moment I arrived, the majority of staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for!. They were incredibly welcoming and tentative. They were attentive and accommodating, starting from the Manager’Nabil’ who helped me a lot during my stay. Other staff including Zohar, Yasmine, Younes, Abdusalam. Furthermore; the location is amazing overlooking the valley! Also, it is very central. In addition, I enjoyed the breakfast. Thus, I have extended my stay. I would love to stay here again.

Totally memorable stay thanks to the hospitality of the staff, cheerily available when help was needed (with advice, local contacts, or cranky gas hot water service) & so welcoming. Good value for money, eclectic mix of furnishings & decor (including cat), yummy breakfast, great location just outside the medina, loved having access to the scenic outdoor terrace, & going to sleep with the sounds of the waterfall nearby. A very authentic Dar with character and history behind, run by a team of well informed (and educated) who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Delicious breakfast! Very close to Medina (walking distance) and other places of interest. My thanks to whole team including Zohair and Nabil for many inspiring discussions we had including history of Chefchaouen. Nabil's intellect and Zohair's linguistic talents are something to remember.

Great choice in Chefchaouen. Staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and serves up a great breakfast. The location is just steps beyond where visitors to town wish to go. All in all, absolutely recommendable.

The address on booking.com took us to the wrong location, but it was just down (a winding) street and locals helped us find our place.

The staff was welcoming and treated us like family. We were able to hike up to the Spanish Mosque from our room to watch the sunset, the over to the old town for dinner. It was perfect.

The location was great for the 1.5 days we visited Chefchaouen, the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful when my daughter was feeling unwell.

Shower pressure pretty low & rooms a little chilly at night - but the bed was super cosy!

The only criticism was that the bed was right up against the wall so I could only get out by waking my husband. Perhaps a smaller bedside table would allow the bed to be moved to allow access on both sides.

The people at Dar Rass El Maa were wonderful. They waited up for us to arrive at 1am after our journey had had so many delays. We were served tea while being checked in, most welcome after the stress of the day. Breakfast in the lounge was delicious and beautifully presented. The bedroom was large and comfortable and everything worked.

The location is great from exploring the medina by foot without being in the middle of the action. The property is a bit dated, but clean and spacious. Breakfast is good, and the staff very friendly. Keep in mind that although the rating is good (which we agree with) the property is probably a 2/3 stars. Don't expect luxury, but a very clean, neat and well position based to explore the beautiful Chefchaouen. Ah, the outside terraces are great to rest.

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. The Location of Rass El Maa is just perfect to visit Chefchaouen and very easy to find. Just 3 minutes walk to the medina, very calm, close to a montain from where you can watch the sunset. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed, the terrace is also very nice for the brakfast and the afternoon. Abderrahim and his collegues are exceptionally attentive and thoughtful and fulfilled all our extra wishes. Thanks for that again! We felt very comfortable and would stay here again at any time.

Dar Rass El Maa was everything we hoped for from our stay In Chefchaouen. The triple room was spacious with the sleeping areas being separated. The beds were comfortable, the hot water strong, the heater great. The windows provided a nice view of the stream below and when open let in its soothing sounds as well as the chirps of the birds. The hotel has two terraces, one with great views of the mountains and town, the other in the garden near the stream. There's also a spacious lobby to have a typical Moroccan breakfast in when it's cold in the mornings. There's a working fireplace in the lobby that the staff opted to light for us but we declined. Yassine and his fellow coworkers were very kind and helpful, always welcoming us with Tea and treats in the afternoon. The hotel is not technically in the medina, but we enjoyed its location near the Rass El Ma waterfalls, with easy access to them and the trail for the Spanish mosque. Despite being outside the medina there is still no car traffic nearby so it is quite calm. The medina itself is just a three minute walk.

We were treated like their family members, making sure we were happy and comfortable all the time. Believe it or not, they seemed more happy to meet with us than we possibly could have been.
