The hostel is in a great location near one of the main gates of the medina and the main street. The space is very quiet and you can rest peacefully without noise. The rooms have a private bathroom. And Mohammed is the best! He showed me the cafe were you can take a good breakfast, introduced me to their friends that managed to get me a place in a trip to Meknes and Volubilis and in the end even offered me a transport to the train station. I will come back for sure.

Location was great, all sights within easy reach. Room good, with en-suit bathroom. Good breakfast included in price.

Nothing really, finding location of accommodation in the Medina's is never easy but this was not too bad.

Great breakfast! Savory and sweet and at a shop along a main street so was great for people watching. The riad is very quiet despite being near a main avenue and is nicely decorated. Host is a down to earth, very nice man. Seems to know everyone in the medina. Highly recommend!

It’s in the old Medina of Fez so you’d better be prepared to get lost once or twice or accept the help of a local (for a small fee of course). Not too far from the entrance though so doesn’t take too long to find on your own.

The room has no hair dryer. The weather is cold and so I requested for a hair dryer for use after bath. The staff said he will send to my room. I reminded him before going up. I waited several hours and as it got late and I received WhatsApp messages that hot water was running out, I wet down to looked for him but couldn’t. I took my bath without a ready hair dryer. The next morning I saw him I told him he didn’t send hair dryer to me. Instead of being apologetic, he scolded me, telling me to use my brain, that I am a man, hairs are short and so I won’t need a hair dryer. He also did not issue a receipt for my stay when he collected room rate

    Property response:

This customer asked me to give him the hair dryer and I told him to wait a little czr I was busy with other customers and also every time he asks for hot water and also he brings food into the room however it is forbidden ka food in ka room

Don't expect it to be like a hotel because it's not. But it gives you a unique experience. The place is decorated nicely, the living room almost feels like a museum. Highly recommended. The host, Mohamed is very nice and and so full of great advices. He will be able to help you with almost everything you need.

Mohammed is a very kind host that personally greets everyone as they check into his dar. He will answer your questions if you have them but will not disturb you otherwise. He is also involved in a travel agency and seems very knowledgable about how tours all over Morocco work. He may ask if you are interested when you first check in, but will not push the subject if you are not. I did not, but I was around to see him help many others trying to plan their holiday. His home is a beautiful building with a great location and I enjoyed staying there for a week while I explored Fes.

A lovely place in the Medina, quite close to the "blue gate". Mohammed was a wonderful host and helped me with driver, laundry & tours. He is also a licensed guide with excellent knowledge of the city & surround. My double room with private shower & toilet was great value (5 nights). I had breakfast included each morning on his terrace.

It can be difficult to find. Location on Google maps is close, but must then go down a little laneway. Local kids were very helpful (MAD5 coin tip). Let them know arrival time as not always someone onsite.
