Perfect location for a visit to Fez, only a 4 minute walk from the parking garage near the blue gate

The price for the underground parking was more than we expected (€9,— each night), but then your car is safe there

The breakfast was supper good and the coffee was the best Ive tried in Marroco. The staff is really helpful and kind.

They make the breakfast for you so if you dont consume something, probably this go to waste. I would recommend to ask the guests before what they want.

I recently stayed for a couple of nights at this charming Riad in Fez, conveniently located just a short walk from the iconic Blue Gate. The host, Alami, kindly met me at the Gate after I arrived by taxi from Fez station. He was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay, and his fluent English and wide knowledge made conversation easy and interesting. Alami also offered recommendations on local attractions and sights to explore, which greatly enriched my experience in Fez. My room, along with the ensuite bathroom, was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was consistently strong. The traditional breakfast served each morning was simple yet satisfying. Overall, I highly recommend this Riad for anyone visiting Fez— it’s a peaceful retreat in the busy medina with warm hospitality and a great location.

It was a little noisy for a while at night from kids playing in the nearby alleyway.

Alami as a host was excellent. Breakfast was amazing and so filling. Beautiful lovely terrace just to relax and unwind. Also, the location was excellent 👌🏻

There were quite a few things actually. We were given a room on the 1st floor room to the complete end of the alleyway, and looks like it did not have wifi connection at all. The room itself was quite small. Toilet lights came on only on sensor and when came on went off after quite sometime, which means in the night if anyone uses the facilities they would definitely get disturbed with the light and exhaust as the bed is bang opposite and the door has fogged window partially. In the night you can hear people on the streets and also during the day it starts getting noisy pretty early. We had our ear plugs so we were cool. No hangers or place to hang clothes. We had a bag pack so we had to adjust but a lil bigger room would not bother us.. overall it was nice but our stay was passable

We would have liked to have something basic for breakfast on the day we left before 8am for a tour, since breakfast was supposed to be included.

The host is a friendly person, and the location is good.

Not clean! The bedsheets were worn out, had a disgusting musty smell, and some of the beds still had bits of dirt on them. The towels were worn out as well, and were initially given 3 for a party of 4 (one of which was stained). When we told the host, he told us to look in the linen closet which contained a total of 2 other towels, both of which were also stained. We ended up cutting our stay short and booking a different hotel because of how gross the place was. Unfortunately we had to stay 1 night because of how late we arrived, and the next day our pyjamas had that same stench as the bed. Ugh! When we booked we could tell that the place looked a bit old, but that would have been completely fine as long as it was clean (which we expected it to be since it had a 8.8 rating when we booked). However that was clearly not the case and while others may have had a different experience it was completely un-stayeable for us.

The location was unbeatable, 3min from the Blue Gate and next to one of the most important Medrassas. Breakfast was amazing and always prepared with love. The room was comfortable and we had all we needed. But what made Fes great was Alami. He was in contact with us as soon as the booking was made, helped us arrange transport, picked us up just outside the gate because we were arriving late, gave us great recommendations on what not to miss and shared a bit of Fes with us. He was friendly and welcoming.

The owner is a real gentleman and will do anything to make you feel at home. He meet us at the Blue Gate to guide us to the riad and did the same when we left. He is a font of information whether it be about tours, transport, laundry, navigating the medina etc. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Good rooftop terrace.

Location, lovely host.

The owner was super kind, advisable and helpful. The location is good, very close to Blue Gate ( within two or three minutes' walking distance ), although it was a bit difficult to find the location. It is a traditional Raid building at a reasonable price and I could feel a good local atmosphere when staying there.

It took some time ( about three minutes ) to get hot shower, but it was hot enough after getting it.

The breakfast was excellent, the host was very helpful, the house had a traditional interior design.

The bathroom flooded easily while taking a shower and was a bit smelly. The room was a bit noisy due to its proximity to the souk.

Alami the host owner is AMAZING!!! Super helpful, kind and good hearted person! Definitely the reason to visit Fes again ! Great location and value of money !

The location could not have been better! Easy to find and you can get to the main points by foot from there. Alami was fantastic, great host. He answered all our questions, helped us get a sim card at a good price and also arranged us a visit to a typical hammam for half the price.

The pillows and mattress were hard, ok for only 1-2 nights. The shower could use a curtain to keep the water from going everywhere.

It was one of the best hotels I stayed in Morocco, the owner was very helpful and he even came to pick me up when I arrived to the city. The place was clean, quite, and in the centre . All in all, I highly recommend it to everyone

The people couldn’t have been nicer and more hospitable which made my stay in Fes very enjoyable

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room and relaxing area on the roof were really comfortable. The location is "in the middle of the action", less than 1min to the market street in the old city

Excellent Location, breakfast

Bathroom in the room, smell.

It was located definitely in the heart of the Madina. The Staff(Alamin) was very attentive and helped us so much(picked us up at the gate, showed a good restaurant, dropped us off for the taxi). Moreover, Amlou is served by him everyday, breakfast was excellent!!! Enjoyed Terrace as we were at home.

Cleaning could be better, towels had stains on them, however they were washed we could smell the detergent odor.

I stayed in the middle of summer so it is very hot but the room has AC. The property is beautiful and close to everything. The staff are so helpful.
