Large room, large bed, long couch, private bathroom, hot water. 150m from the main gate into medina. Very good service for the price.

If I come back to Fes will stay here again. The hosts have amazing vibes. The room and bathroom are nicely decorated. Excellent location. Is so easy to find from blue gate. It is within walking distance to most attractions. I walked to train station too and the area is lovely. It was worth the walk. The neighbourhood is safe. There are cameras in the entrance and common area and at end of street a couple of metres there is a guard for the nearby hotel.

rooms with no heating quite cold, no hot water the first day, rooms and bathroom poor cleaned, general condition with poor manteinance (windows non closing well, air conditioning not working, heating non working properly, low pressure of water, etc...)

holes in the bedsheet camera's inside the house; 1 on stairs and 1 central room (not in private rooms) double bed, but 1 side has a pit in the matras. So if you are 2 persons.........., but for 1 night that pit should be not a problem.

Truly magical and perfect start to our journey in morocco. The place is beautiful and impressive, we also felt very safe and sound on the rooftop terrace and in the hotel. Our needs were met 100% and the people running the place are super nice.

The location of this property was unbelievable. Literally 1min walk from the Blue Gates that leads you into the ancient Medina. It was also located in a quiet street, so definitely great for a pleasant nights sleep. When we arrived the room and the bathroom were both very clean. Great first impressions when walking into any accommodation. Family running the property were super lovely and helpful.

After our pleasant first nights sleep there was a terrible sewerage smell coming from the bathroom drains. Understandably this is hard to manage as the property is very old but I think definitely something that should be sorted out… literally the difference between taking the property from a score of 7 to a score of 9/10…. After airing out the room and bathroom during the day when we were out exploring the smell had faded but once back in the room the sewerage smell returned…. Even a simple ventilation system running from the bathroom to the roof to filter the smell out… Also not a major concern as it wasn’t in our room but there are little birds that fly around the main part of the entrance/living room, so consequently there was bird droppings around this area. You could see that the family cleans this area but there was still bird droppings higher on the skirting and ledges. Maybe this could be cleaned to make the living area a bit more pleasant and presentable.

the location is perfect, close ti the blue bab. the best position for a few nights in fes. near ti the kasbah at at the same time confy to take a taxi. breackfast excellent

Very friendly, welcoming staff, great breakfast, nice views from the roof terrace and very central location to Medina but on a quiet side street so easy to get some peace and quiet- definitely recommend.

The staff was welcoming, we were served a basic breakfast and were given a free SIM card that we could use for internet. We really appreciated this.

It was not easy to find the Riad because it had no label/sign. I think the tiny room size and street loudness is passable, but what made our stay unpleasant is the lack of cleanliness in the toilet and the carpets. I think the other rooms are better but they were all busy so we have been put in this one. I think this Riad could do too much better than this and I hope that out feedback would be taken constructively.

Very friendly and tougthful Host. We got breakfast although We left very early. The Hotel is near the medina. We loved our stay here.

The location gave quick access to the markets and many restaurants. The staff was nice. The breakfast was modest.

The bathroom in our room was tiny, 2 people had issues moving around inside. The bed sheets and pillow cases were washed but they had stains. The floor was dusty.

The staff (family) that runs this Dar are awesome. The face of the operation is a human dynamo. If I asked for it, it was done. And, like not your basic stuff, either. She had my duffle bag repaired for me, and she walked me to get my car when I parked in a "bad neighborhood." If I am ever back in Fes, this is where I am staying.

Awesome location just outside Blue gate with easy parking access right next to place. Wonderful views from terrace. Nice family runs the place and you are in their home. Great value. Great for families.

AC doesn't work super well if really hot summer time. Place could be cleaner.
