The facilities were great. Spacious room, comfortable beds, and a beautiful rooftop patio. The place was difficult to find, but after having experienced Fes, every place in the Medina is probably hard to find 😅 The breakfast was subpar but it was Ramadan, so maybe that was why.

The place is very beautiful, a well decorated and super cozy Riad! The owner is simply incredible, I think he's the best person I've met in Morocco so far! The shower is hot and the beds and blankets are very good! I stayed in January so it is quite cold but the blankets are still very warm! The terrace has a really cool view of the city, it's worth going up to check it out! The kitchen is well equipped and clean, we can use the refrigerator and the breakfast is really delicious!! If you are coming to Fes, I highly recommend staying at Safir, I have already traveled to more than 20 countries and at this place I had one of the best stays, for sure!!

The hosts were very accommodating. They helped to organise pick up and drop off at the train station and airport, and organised a really lovely walking tour with a local guide. Breakfast was big and delicious, good location as well, and great dinner recommendations.

The staff were great. The rooms were large & clean. Plenty of hot water & a good shower. Coffee on terrace & great views over Fez. Set breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee, omelet, freshly baked bread. All in all everything we needed was on our door step.

I had to wait 10 minutes outside the door at night for the host to come back after calling him, so I wish he would change the mechanism to allow for guests to enter on their own. I also was disappointed to see no tables or chairs on the rooftop... I recommend making it more comfortable and inviting up there!

The private room and bathroom were a great value for the price at a 50% discount. The place is beautiful, and it was quiet and calm when I was there.

Zaki the Hostel owner/manager was an excellent host. The hostel was beautifully painted with nice Moroccan features. It was always clean and tidy and felt homely. Zaki and I since there weren’t many in the hostel cooked meals together and spent time together. Zaki helped with whatever I needed throughout my stay

Fantastic hostel, super rooms and amazing value for money. My private room was a good size, very clean and the bed was fantastic. Pillows also good. Lots of light on upper floors, very convenient on lower floors. The owner Zak is amazing, one of the most helpful people you'll encounter in Fes, ready to provide above and beyond customer service and options and assistance. It's wonderful to be in accommodation that's run by the actual owner, and one who is so responsive. His English is also fluent. The terrace is great, and the location is peaceful. A really down to earth place to stay. Really highly recommended this place.

Location of hostel. It’s so complicated and actually the staff was not know where there are on google map. They are local so bad at explaining in oral. The path in front of hostel is not exist on google maps. My pictures shows that location of hostel and one of the entrance points of the path!!! I wish It helps future travelers!

I stayed in a 3-bed room with a private bathroom at this lovely riad. The room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. It has got a beautiful rooftop overlooking the medina. I was allowed to use the kitchen. The manager, Zakaria, was always very kind and friendly. Soon after I made the booking, he contacted me on whastapp, passed me the link on googlemaps to the exact location of the riad and explained to me how to get to the hostel from the nearby Rcif square. The location of the hostel is ideal in the heart of the old medina, only a 10-minute walk from Rcif square. There is a convenient variety of nearby restaurants and shops. I would def come back and I strongly recommend this newly refurbished riad.

The place is not in Google Maps and is wrong in booking.com, I was trying to find it for almost 2 hours, I was already checking in at other place when I received a message from the staff giving me the right location. I had a hard time with scamers supposedly trying to help me but they just confused me even more and bothered me with money, it doesn't matter how much you give them they will ask for more. Don't accept help from the young guys in the medina, they are just scamers, ask old people they are nice people who actually care about turist that spend their time and saving in this beautiful country.

Staff is amazing, price is fair and location very good, strong wifi, good showers.
