This property had charm, was located in the Medina and had a sweet and very accommodating staff who made us feel welcome, gave recommendations for where to visit and even made a special trip to make sure we tried some traditional Moroccan food for breakfast. We loved our stay!

There is not really something to complain about. Just a note for visitors- it is an old house so the bathroom can stay a little bit humid as there is no forced ventilation. If you dislike wet floors, take some flipflops with you. Also there is no door between bedroom and bathroom- just curtains. The doors are quite thin- so in case you a light sleeper or need more privacy- ask for a room in second floor.

It is as you see on the pictures. Lovely maroccon style riad. Amazing staff and hospitality- you will feel very at home here. If you need any information or help or you just want to have a chat- Hassan and his colleagues are there for you. This riad is easy to find ( something not to underestimate in Fez) and is in very strategic location - the atreet itself is quiet, but its very easy to go from here to medina or any other point of interest in the city. Also- if you planning a day trip outside of Fez, then meeting point with your tour guide /driver is usually nearby this riad. Room is on a small side, but beautiful and has everything for comfortable stay. Most important- bed and pillows are comfy. Breakfast is rich and tasty! You also find couple of very good and not expensive restaurants nearby. Overall very good value for money!

Room on the 3rd floor has super tiny sink. No enough place to put luggage. Rooms on the first floor has holes in the door which mens that u will hear all the sounds and vice versa.

Staff is really nice and always ready to help. Our tiny room has been upgraded free of charge and we did not even asked for the upgrade. Latter has been proposed by staff. Location is 10/10, many top rated cafes in 5 min walk. Medina as well. Rooms are clean and good value. No problems with hot water

The location is great, staffs are friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing, the Dar is clean and very beautiful. Very good value of money!

In our opinion, the breakfast had too much sweet, as it is usual in pretty much all the riads in Morocco. This is a bit tyring and not so healthy when travelling for a week ot two, as we did, but tasty if you are in Morocco just for a long weekend. Just adding a couple of eggs and a fresh orange juice with no sugar would be appreciated.

Hassan was very nice and went out of his way to help us get around the city and fix a little problem we had in the room. We keep great memories of him and look forward to going back to this riad in the future!

The place was super nice and beautiful, a great riad to experience the true Moroccan culture. They have a nice terrace where you can drink some Moroccan tea and enjoy the view, sunsets and sunrises. The hosts were super friendly, helped us a lot, answered all our questions, provided a lot of additional services like booking a tour to Chefchaouen or taxi to the airport. The location of the riad is perfect. It is located on a very calm street but all of the touristic places are in a walking distance, especially the old Medina which is 7-10 minutes away. Would highly recommend and go back there! 10/10 experience, thank you! 🫶

A clean accommodation in a desirable location. Our host El Moufid Hassan was very welcoming and helpful. He was excellent in communication. He helped us in our very early morning check out and also provided us with ready to go breakfast for our Fez airport journey.

Bathrooms tend to drain slowly on the ground floor but this is manageable with a squeegee provided. The room we had on the ground floor is not sound proof so it was a little noisy on the odd occasion.

The staff were very helpful and looked after us so well. Very close to the Medina and Blue Gates which were a central meeting point for tours. Breakfasts were traditional and good quality. Beds were more comfortable than most we have had.

Perfect located in the Medina Fes. Everything you can walk. The rooms are really authentic and with many cute details decorated. We loved especially the service was 6 out of 5! Good English and really welcoming. You didn’t felt that it’s only interested because of selling. They try to have a country exchange of informations and giving nice recommendations for the city. Thanks guys!!! ❤️

I had an unforgettable stay at Dar khmissa! From the moment I walked in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The highlight was definitely the phenomenal Moroccan breakfast. Each morning, I was treated to a delightful spread of fresh, local delicacies that were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start my day of exploring the magical city of Fes. The Riad itself was a charming oasis with its traditional decor and serene atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality and a bit of magic. Thank you to the wonderful team for making my stay so memorable! I can’t wait to return.

The personnel was amazingly kind, we had many fun conversations and truly felt like we were cared for. We were given good advice, were always welcomed upon entrance, and the host woke up extra early so we could check out early. We're very grateful for the provided service. Also, the inner courtyard is very vibey and they have a wonderful terrace where you can play games at night that feels like a private café.
