The bed had someone else's hairs on the sheet x 4. so I had to sleep on my own beach towel. mattress toppers were needed as it was not very comfy. One towel for 3 days was not enough. However, I could am sure have resolved these issues but I have anxiety so I didn't mention it and staff were lovely. Pillows smelt of BO, I didn't use.

The people were lovely, very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, location excellent. I had the best trip and would go back to Rabat.

We asked for a sugar-free vegan breakfast, and they even sent the chef to ask us what we wanted cause I quote " they want us to eat well". We agreed on vegetables and then they served us milk, cheese and lots of sweets. Nothing savory and nothing vegan. Except the tea, with lots of sugar. Then they brought some boiled potatoes with cucumber and rice without nothing on them. No salt, oil, literally nothing. And brought mayo as a sauce when asked... is like we spoke in Chinese, not french. They serve diabetes not breakfast. Also, the room had hairs on the floor. Good thing we only had one night here.

As a solo traveller it met all my needs and more.

Great host, good conversationalist and helpful and proud of his Dar. As a single father we had a lot of challenges in common. Filling breakfast, and hot tea, it was cool and rainy when I was staying in Rabat, so I appreciated the mint tea when ever I was back at the Dar. Fantastic location and cozy.

Unfortunately, our room was stuffy, damp and smelled of mold. We had a fan, but it barely made any difference. We had a private bathroom inside the room – the door had no handle on the inside, one person had to close the door from the outside and then open it to let you out. That didn't help much, as basically every time we showered some water spilled down the (moldy) door, forming a little puddle on the floor inside the room. The other review mentioned lot's of piled up furniture and random stuff, and that still remains the case – the upper floor and the main room had a but of a flea market vibe. We've stayed in much better places in Morocco for half the price – unfortunately, the hospitality of the staff and a good location were the main perks of this place

The host was extremely kind and helpful, we were greeted with a snack and tea, he gave us a lot of tips about the city and the places worth visiting. We had to check out at 6 and he offered to prepare us tea and some pancakes so that we didn't have to leave hungry (keep in mind, usual breakfast time starts at 9!) Safe to say, the host is more than hospitable 🖤 The breakfast was good and filling, plus the location is really convenient, within walkable distance to the beach and nearest attractions.

No key to the bathroom in case of the bathroom outside of the room and no place to hang the towel.

They were really nice to us, we could change to a better room for free for one night just out of kindness. Really special vibe there. Perfect location, two minutes of walk from the busy central street, on a charming little street. The breakfast was also nice.

Breakfast was a little poor definitely didn’t like the idea of putting jam honey chocolate spread into little dishes I think they were just topped up for the next day. It would be hygienic and cost effectively if little tubs were there People would only open if they required a lot less cost A variety would have been better and maybe a bit of fruit The room I stayed in was ok nothing to shout about very simple a bed and a drawer Would I return maybe because location was good But would look for somewhere else first

How the reception/eating area is outdated ... room doors unsecured and broke. They see it and should fix it... price too high for that place Booking.com has sold me cheaper price and those places are better than this Dar karam

Location, location, location. In the heart of the Medina, easy access to everything in Rabat. Atmospheric riad, like staying in someone’s slightly messy and seedy home. Breakfast reasonably good.

Very very kind staff. Amazing hospitality, marked my trip in Morocco. Very local and characteristic place, allowing to understand the lifestyle in Rabat. I wanted to remark that, even being Ramadan, the staff prepared food for me, and sat at the table while I ate, making me an amazing company. Thank you truly for your kindness and hospitality.

The Place was really beautiful, the host is the kindest person we met during our trip, really admirable. Also the breakfast was really rich, with continental and typical Moroccan food. I totally recommend it!
