The stairs and bathroom can be very small/tight, but I understand. Also the location can be a little confusing as you have to walk a little more than what's shown on Google Maps.

The private room I rented was spacious and cozy! The host was very nice and the building as a whole was beautiful, including the terrace.

The room was clean and comfy. The hotel is also really quite even though it’s near the main walking street. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable, everyone was very helpful!

Be aware that 24 hours reception is not really 24 hours operational: However, the owner is very responsive on Whatsapp, whenever you would need something...

Friendly owner / host, who is always in for a chat. Very tasty breakfast in the mornings. Rooms are rather spacious and cosy. Clean bathroom and surroundings. Nice rooftop area overviewing part of the old town.

You have to pay in cash, and the lady from the hotel said I had to go to the city to withdraw money (not true, as there are several cash machines in the medina). The location is in a small alley, when I tried to go alone I didnt feel safe and came back because I thought it couldnt be there. A man offered me to show me where it is (I was a bit suspicious, but he was actually very kind) - the hotel is after 4 streets without shops, almost no people and zero signs outside (maybe you should put the name of the hotel outside and some indications on the streets). It looks a bit scary at first but I was okay both at night and early morning as a solo female traveler. Bathroom is outside of the room and there are no lights in the corridor.

    Close to the Medina.

Balcony means a window to the inner space. Not to outside. We came on wrong time, and due of cold weather a stay at the "libby" made froozen fingers.. if you coming at cold days. ask for the heating by A/C in the room. The shower can be a bit difficult, if you overweight, a bit tighten.

It s a nice stay in old town. Owner was very helpful, breakfast good choice. Tell right on time, what you like/not like, so this prevent leftovers, give you a better start in the day.

We didn't recieve the breakfast on our last day because the lady managing the cleaning and breakfast arrived there late... The rooms have no windows, and they are a lot smaller than the pictures on booking. The whole riad is smaller than the photos...

The riad is situated in the old medina of Fez, it has nice clean rooms, with a traditional moroccan design, very good heating from modern ac converters, a very good breakfast, and a terrace with a great view over the Marinides Tombs...

The bathroom is definitely too small, you can't barely stand up. There was a cockroach in there.

Staff is welcoming and friendly. We slept in a bedroom with a double bed, which was actually pretty nice and quite big. Location and price are the best reasons to come.

The bathrooms were rather small and wifi only worked in the common area.

Our host was super helpful, arranged a tour guide who took us to the artisan hotspots in the Fez medina, and confirmed our desert tour pickup time and location. The riad was beautiful and the rooms were clean and good bargain. We were a family of 4 so we were in 2 separate rooms, and basically had the entire riad to ourselves.

Maybe due to the old building, there is bad smell coming out from the drainage in the bathroom. We needed to close to bathroom door to prevent the smell spread to the main room.

The location is very good, in the middle of the medina and close to everything. The building is nice. Room is clean. Breakfast is ok. Ahmed is not present but reachable through Whatapp. He helped arrange the transport to CTM bus station for our group with no problem as well.

It’s not quite the hotel’s fault but we didn’t get much sleep, it was pretty windy overnight and the tarpaulin made a lot of noise.

the location is great and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. We also have a very nice breakfast.

In beginning of february, it was cold in the day and night in the dar, but maybe that has to be expected. One mattress was not so comfortable.

The location was great, 10 mn walk from Bab Jeloud. Ahmed et Rachida were good hosts, helpful. The breakfast was good, nice breads, jam, egg, yogurt, mint tea, coffee. I would have happily exchanged the orange juice from the bottle for a fresh one. Little terrasse. It is a tiny place, the photos make it seem bigger on the site, so we were surprised on arrival, but we have access to the tiny kitchen, and Ahmed was nice enough to let us leave our luggage until departure time in the afternoon.

    - parking: parking is not 2€ per night, as it is written, but 3€ for parking + 2€ for some guy to "guard" your car (although when we got to the car in the morning there was no one there) and another 2€ if you want them to take your suitcases and show them to you where is the accommodation located - because it is like a maze of alleys - breakfast: starts only at 9 am - stairs: they are extremely narrow and dangerous (especially the ones for the terrace). - toilet: located away from the room. It is quite dangerous to walk up the stairs at night. The toilet is extremely small, it's hard to brush your teeth... - there is no wardrobe or storage space in the room.

Nicely decorated rooms - given that the building is 500 years old

    The pillows!

Ahhmed is a very attentive host who communicates promptly and well. We were glad we arranged through Ahmed for a driver from the airport to Dar Bhija and after another driver to the train station. The medina is quite a maze, but it helps to have help to get somewhere on time. Ahmed made the time to greet us at the Dar and spent time helping to get acquainted to Fes. Breakfast is good and sufficient. Nice to have a boiled egg.

The owner didn't get us a key even after he said he will come with it. Bathroom was really small, you can't fit if you are over 185 cm.

Nice place in old Medina. AC/heater
