Thank you to the brother for his wonderful welcome. A super beautiful and very well-located riad. A very good breakfast with more than perfect rooms. We ate on the terrace; it was the best meal in Morocco. You can visit this riad with your eyes closed.

The area can be a little sketchy at night so be aware that it’s not located directly in the center and main streets on Fes. But nothing bad!

Dar Authentic Fes is the little cousin of Restaurant Palais Fes Yahya a neat nearby Restaurant-Hotel with beautiful interior design and architecture. Both facilities are run by the members of a local family and the dinners are cooked by the mom. Therefore the hospitality is excellent with very friendly vibes. Everyone in the stuff is ready to cover every need. The Tanjeen we ate here was THE BEST in the whole country and I'm not exaggerating. The room was big enough and comfortable, however it was in the ground floor and the smell wasn't very good. The location is inside the Medina just a few minutes walk from all the action but the establishment is hidden in an dark corner and for some that might be a bit claustrophobic. Overall, a good experience, and a very helpful staff. The boys do everything and always with a smile on their chin. 🙂

We had an absolutely unique stay! The room was super clean, beautifully furnished, well located and with a fantastic terrace. But what made our stay so unique were the hosts - they were so warm hearted and welcoming. Our stay was unforgettable thanks to Hamza, Jad and Abdul. We can also highly recommend the tours through and around the medina recommended by the hosts as well as the hammam treatment. We will never forget our stay and the hospitality. We were accommodated in the adjoining property which was excellent and very beautifully adorned with art and decor. It had a rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent. The room had excellent facilities and the shower had excellent hot water.

The location of the Riad is not in the best zone I must say, and the streets to get there can get quite scary when the sun sets. But that is the case for many places in the Medina. Then small details which are not intended to be a critique but rather an invitation to further improve: some extra toilet paper would be good, as well as a small rubbish bin in the room. The last night I could not sleep at all since there was a dog barking for 5 hours straight with no breaks (no exaggeration) and you can hear everything from the window

Very kind staff and overall a good experience, especially given the very good prices they offer. A bit annoying they only accept cash though. But the whole family was very hospitable, helpful and available, also helping us arrange guided tours.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riad for 4 nights. Nothing was too much for the staff and they were very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a beautiful Riad to stay at in Fes, then I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars!!!

Even though we arrived after midnight and our flight was delayed we were kindly welcomed. Brother of the riad owner picked us up straight from the taxi and led us through the night medina. He was really attentive. In the morning, they prepared early breakfast for us - and it was delicous! The interior of Riad is truly magical.

Hosts are incredibly helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable bed and clean room with attached bathroom. Safe place to stay and see Fes. Fabulous roof top area both open and closed(Aircon) spaces. Fantastic home cooked meals.

Very clean rooms. They are cleaned everyday. I felt safe and very welcome from all the staff. They helped me from the beginning to find my way through the Medina, suggestions for restaurants and activities. I could book guided tours and activities such as cooking classes or day trips directly with the staff with no additional fees. It made things so much easier for me. I enjoyed my stay and extended to stay another week. The restaurant is good, I’ve been working in the rooftop a lot and the view is great. This family owned restaurant and riad is very friendly. I am also impressed on how many languages they can speak ! English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch… wow!

Amazing experience I was coming very late, and I don't have a problem checking in. The family's there. Was very nice and welcome. Ming me with Morocco, Minty. An American pastries. After that I took a very delicious dinner on the rooftop. It was the best food I had in my life. The room was very clean and nicely with Moroccan decorated. I recommend definitely staying here for anyone coming to this nice city.
