Everything about this hotel was truly special. I’ve traveled to many countries around the world, but this has been by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. Not only is it located in a beautiful historic building, but the facilities are also impeccably clean, and the breakfast is full of fresh, local ingredients. Most of all, the hotel manager, Youssef, goes above and beyond to ensure you feel safe and cared for at all times. It felt more like staying at an old friend’s home—yet with hotel-quality facilities and service—than a typical hotel stay. That’s how genuine and welcoming their hospitality was. I would return in a heartbeat.

The staff was amazingly helpful and welcoming! They took very good care of us and our kids. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms lovely. And Fati at the hamam gave us a star treatement. We will be back!

    Nothing. The property is perfect.

Dar al Miraaj is a home away from home. It’s not only spotless clean and super comfortable, but designed to make you feel truly at home. This is visible in the meticulous attention to every single detail in designing the Riad. Youseph and his staff go above and beyond to make sure their guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. The breakfast is like nothing you’ve experienced before, made with so much love and generosity. The location is great too; very close to taxis and the beach front and Kasbah yet tranquil and peaceful. This by far was the best accommodation we had during our multi city trip in Morocco. We will definitely be back to stay with Youseph—a gracious and generous host who redefines the concept of hospitality.

Dar Al Miraaj is a wonderful place. It is instantly welcoming, calming, relaxing, healing oasis run and managed by unique and extraordinary people. Youcef, Hassan, Fafima and Samba - thank you once again for looking after us and for making our stay truly amazing. Your kindness and big hearts will stay with us forever. The Dar is perfectly renovated and everything, from the rooftop terrace to the reception desk is just beautiful and kept in line with true Moroccan design. The location couldn't be better, everything on your doorstep from the magnificent ocean view and pier, to iconic landmarks. Hammam within the dar is a cherry on top for anyone looking for a truly Moroccan experience. Fatiha, with her wonderful smile and radiance, will make sure to tailor your Hammam session to your needs. Food is also special, it is hard to explain it in words - thank you Fatima! We truly enjoyed our stay and it felt like a home away from home for the entire week from the minute we walked through the door. Youcef - thank you for your time, heart, care and all our evenings filled with stories, music and this wonderful human connection we felt. It's all unforgettable. We really hope to see you all again in the future. K&G

    Everything was perfect

Dar Al Miraaj is a breathtakingly beautiful riyad in the center of Rabat’s historic medina. The property just opened recently but should become one of the most sought after places in Rabat. Youssef, the owner is a very inspiring and friendly individual who gave excellent recommendations about things to do and restaurants not just in Rabat but the whole country. Service quality is impeccable, the staff is dedicated to giving the best experience for all visitors. Youssef helped us arrange a private hammam session in the hotel’s brand new facilities with Fati, which was an unforgettable experience; I felt like walking in the clouds after! The hotel’s breakfast is top notch for discovering local food in an authentic place. The rooftop terrace is simply amazing to witness magical sunsets sipping sweet Moroccan atay with a view on the beautiful Kasbah! Can’t wait to return and thanks for everything!

I honestly can't think of anything that they need to improve.

Far and away the best riad we staying in during our multi-city visit to Morocco, especially considering the price. The host went above and beyond to accommodate any request. This is how every accommodation should be run.

There wasn't anything we did not like !

My wife and I decided to go to Morocco for our anniversary and our first stop was Rabat. The Dar Al Miraaj has a wonderful location on the edge of the Medina close to the Andalusian Gardens and the Oudayas National Museum. A short walk away is Rabat Beach on the Atlantic to the north and the Mohammed VI Museum of Contemporary Art to the south. Youcef, the owner of Dar Al Miraaj, could not have been nicer. He was always available to help with useful and accurate recommendations. I have celiac disease and he made sure that there were always plenty of reliably gluten free options available for me at breakfast. The staff was very friendly and eagerly assisted us with anything we needed. The building is beautifully decorated and restored. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy, tasteful and comfortable. We should have stayed here longer. We were here only two nights and we should have stayed at least 3 or even 4 nights.

This restored historic dar was the perfect place to stay in Rabat. It was easy to find, near taxis and the waterfront walk and Andalusian Gardens, but very quiet and peaceful.

    Nothing to complain.

Before booking, we were a bit hesitant because it had few reviews. But it turned out to be one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. Honestly, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to writing reviews, but I couldn't resist leaving one for this place. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The riad is newly opened as guest house, which explains the limited number of reviews. All the amenities were brand new and in excellent condition, yet kept in the traditional style. The building has been completely renovated and is very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The location is great, close to the old city and the market. I highly recommend this place for stay.
