    Beautiful riad close to medina

The shower takes a very long time to get hot and it's a bit old.

Locate just at the entrance of the medina but close to a car park. Super handy if like us you have a lot of luggages. The rooms are very large, the building lovely and breakfast very good. But the best aspect is the service. They helped us with everything, from booking restaurants and taxi, lifting our luggages and even fetch diapers for our son.

The area we needed to cross to reach the Medina is a bit dodgy. We had some bad encounters on the way but managed to get away with it

Warm welcome and great responsiveness to any need. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful historical building. Location is convenient for both reaching the Medina and close to the parking.

Could mostly communicate OK, but sometimes needed Google Translate to communicate specifics with the staff, who don’t speak English. French helps.

The riad is quite beautiful. I had the suite, which was spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I also had two dinners there, which were delicious with huge portions, prepared by Rahma. Raschid is the kind host. He was very caring and helpful. He recommended a nearby restaurant Dar Chadia for the first night’s dinner and it was especially good. He helped with the luggage and arranged an airport taxi. Located close to the medina. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. I highly recommend this riad for a great, tranquil stay where you will be well looked after.

My bathroom was on second floor, up steep stairs. I navigated the stairs alright, but it would be a problem if you don't have good vision and balance.

This dar was very authentic and a good value for the price. Bedding was comfortable and tea was served in afternoon daily. Staff was very responsive and caring. They allowed us to add a night on pretty short notice. Rashid was super helpful with directions and getting a taxi several times. He was available whenever we needed him. He was gracious about storing my refrigerated medication. Tres bien!

The manager took great care of clients.

It's at the entrance of Medina, easily accessing any attractions nearby. It's about 3 minutes' walk from riad to a public parking.

Dar Al Batoul is the perfect place for your stay in the vibrant city of Fès. From the moment you enter this Dar it's like you entered a different time. The building, the decorations and the furniture are straight from a museum. The rooms are spacious and clean. The family taking care of this beautiful place will make you feel right at home. They are always at your service with their very high level of hospitality and engagement. The typical Moroccan breakfast and tea were delicious. And the daily change of our bedding and towels was a pleasant surprise! Parking of your car near the Dar is no problem. This peaceful and relaxing oasis within walking distance of the chaotic and beautiful medina has definitely been a highlight of our trip through Morocco! Thanks again for everything! :-)

The riad is beautiful with great hospitality from the owner and the breakfast! But it is a little difficult to find as there is no visible name sign of the place shown on the main street. The riad is a 10min walk to the old medina. I definitely recommend this place. 10 out of 10!

    Nothing!

After a day in the heat and chaos of the city Fez, it was always such a pleasure to come back to the Dar, with its cool and relaxed patio. The room is spacious and Rachid cleaned our bedding and towels every day, which felt so luxurious. The breakfast was also excellent every day.

    The WiFi could be better.

This accommodation is a wonderful old castle. Quiet and fresh interiors. Antique furniture and cleanness. The breakfast was gorgeous. This is how town of Fes represent itself.
