Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Don’t hesitate to book your stay here; everything exceeded our expectations! Zaki was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help. The owner even offered to take us to Assilah, which was a lovely gesture. The food was also amazing. Make sure to try the fish tagine!

United KingdomThis property is quite incredible. The location is spectacular. I could have easily stayed a week and just rested and watched the surroundings. Zaki is a lovely man and cooks the most amazing tagine if you are hungry. And as for the beach, paradise.

United KingdomThe location is at the end of a fairly rough lane/track so don’t come here if you’re driving a low slung sports car!
The location is amazing with the most fantastic outlook over the coast. The rooms are modern and clean and the service from the young chap looking after us was excellent.

United KingdomThe access could do with being concreted or tarmac'd but appreciate this costs money and I suspect the access is usually dry and easier to navigate.
I chose this Riad for its location for my final night in Morocco... with its priceless views overlooking a beach.. to the horizon where the sea meets the sky... I was hoping for the perfect sunset... and to see the Great Alignment... alas the weather did its worst and I was defeated... however that did not diminish my stay. Met by Zaki to lead me to the entrance as Google Maps doesn't do a good job of getting you there... but very glad I was on an ADV bike... as some of the inclines in mud were a little challenging to navigate. The room was big and the en-suite wet room was great with plenty of hot water. The bed was big and comfortable and despite the weather what little bit of a sunset I got was worth it sat on the terrace sipping my coke. I slept very well and breakfast was good... Zaki did the best omelette of my whole trip... if you love sunsets and vistas... this is the perfect spot... just avoid when wet as the access is challenging... the donkey on the bend didn't help either :) and as it rained over night the ride out on my fully laden bike was a real "giggler!". There wasn't any dinner on offer but with Asilah just down the road (@7km) there's plenty of places to eat or get a picnic and eat on the terrace.

MoroccoThe stay was amazing, but the road to the property needs to be repaired for better access.
My stay was amazing! The location is unbeatable, and Zaki’s warm welcome made it even better. The service was excellent, and the food—especially the tagines—was authentic and delicious. Breakfast was also great. A fun surprise was the dog guard guiding me to the beach without me even asking. Such a unique touch! Highly recommend this place.

Although this hotel was a bit of a challenge to get to, the views were impressive and the rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed a dip in their pool and sat on the balcony to watch the sunset. They made us a lovely dinner at our request and breakfast was delicious.

GermanyNothing worth mentioning that does not meet expectations.
Rating: 10/10 I had the pleasure of staying at Chez Reda, located on the stunning Atlantic coast in Assilah. The beauty of this place is truly captivating, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil environment. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional hospitality of the owners, Jamal and Fatiha. I genuinely felt like I was staying with my friends, thanks to their warm welcome and attentiveness. The quality of the Moroccan food served here rivals that of 10-star restaurants—absolutely delicious. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with Jamal, who impressively speaks German among other languages, adding to the cultural richness of the experience. The entire staff, including Houssam, Wafae, and Hafsa (if I remember correctly), work as a cohesive and welcoming family, which made my stay even more delightful. I will definitely visit this place again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the enchanting beauty of the Atlantic Ocean from the hotel’s terrace. This is a must-visit destination.

MoroccoI encountered several issues that significantly impacted my comfort and overall satisfaction. Firstly, upon check-in, I was met with delays and a lack of clear communication from your front desk staff. This resulted in a frustrating start to what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. Furthermore, the attitude and responsiveness of your staff left much to be desired. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and requests for assistance were met with indifference rather than genuine hospitality.

MoroccoWe stayed at Chez Reda from Friday to Tuesday and honestly… it was such a refreshing escape. The place is about 5 km from Asilah, hidden in a calm little douar surrounded by nature — chickens walking around, a super cute dog, and this really chill, authentic vibe. Now listen — if you’re planning to go to the beach (which you absolutely should because it’s stunning and has real waves), bring sneakers. There’s a little downhill hike to get there, and we kind of regretted wearing anything else 😂 But once you’re there? Worth it. The room was really spacious and super clean, the pool area is sunny and peaceful, and breakfast was simple but genuinely so good — especially when you’re sitting outside in the quiet. But honestly, what made the whole stay unforgettable was Zaki. Such a kind soul. He helped us with everything — transport, tips, anything we needed. We even ended up having the most meaningful conversations with him. He just gives warm, safe energy. You feel like you’ve known him forever. And the sunsets from the terrace? Wow. Like golden hour with a glass of atay that Zaki made for us — it felt like a little movie moment. If you’re someone who loves peace, nature, and real hospitality — this is your place. Also, as two girls traveling, we felt so safe and respected the entire time. No weird vibes, just calm, care, and good energy. Already dreaming of going back
