If you're looking for a genuine connection with nature and the desert, this is the perfect place. Some comforts are intentionally limited — no hot water, no air conditioning, and no hairdryers — all in an effort to reduce environmental impact. Sand may find its way indoors, but that’s part of the experience. Mohsin is a wonderful host: attentive, welcoming, and always seeking for feedback. During our stay, he cooked delicious meals with great care, using only fresh and genuine ingredients. He also organized a desert tour for us with a driver named Defì, with whom we spent a truly enchanting day.

Moshin (the owner) is a charming host, takes great care of his guests and has build a comfortable little camp on the outskirts of town. Nice place, quite and some sand dunes next to the camp. Moshin even flashes a snowboard for those who want to try!

Beautiful place right next to dunes, very peaceful. Rooms with beautiful view. Akram looked after us really well. The food he cooked was really tasty, we had chicken and lemon tagine, one of the best we had in Marocco. He organized an overnight trip for us to the desert camp next to Erg Chigaga, he drove us there and made the whole trip really easy and enjoyable. Thank you Akram for a wonderful time.

Nothing - just be aware is cold at night in winter as it's a camp but plenty of warm blankets & enough hot water for a quick shower

Location, staff & food excellent. Is a fixed camp rather than a hotel so be prepared/ happy with that fact!

Very tranquil place. The accommodation has so many small details one can really feel that this is a special place. Sunset from the dunes as well as the amazing and delicious dinner and breakfast made this stay unforgettable. Mohsin is such a courteous host an even arranged a spontaneous trip to the desert. We loved the property. There are dunes directly behind where you stay so you can walk there barefoot to watch the sunrise. Mohsin, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming. Delicious food. Quiet and peaceful space. Comfortable beds and a clean room :)

This has been the most amazing listing i've ever visited. It is located right between the sanddunes and palmtrees, which was a stunningly beautiful sight. Mohsin was an great host who showed a lot of care. I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Sahara desert in luxury.

We had the best stay in Morocco. Mohsin is the best and friendliest person we met in Morocco, thanks to him we had an unforgettable trip to the desert with lunch, we returned full of impressions. The camp is in a very quiet and beautiful place, beautiful surroundings, we had a parking space right next to our room, which was very convenient. We got a very nice room with a view of the desert and palm trees. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I highly recommend it. Once again, thank you very much Mohsin, we hope to come back again.

Nice remote place, a little bit hard to find in the dark but the staff was very helpful and guided us. They organise tours to the Erg Chigaga there. It is a bit expensive - 110 usd per 4x4 with a driver but it is worth going on a trip. Beautiful nature, fossil hunting, you can enjoy the dessert.

The property is very nicely decorated; it is conveniently close to the city to be reached easily by car while far enough to feel completely disconnected and calm; the food was very good; the landscape was beautiful; the shower was good with hot water; the property offered an ideal day trip to the dessert; the service was exceptional! MaSoud did an exceptional effort to ensure a good stay.

PALM FOREST. We stayed 10 meters from the dunes and in a beautiful palm forest. You got to see the night sky, how the stars twinkle in the desert and feel the silence. And in the morning to climb up the dunes near the house to feel the soothing morning sun as you watch the shadows ripple across the dunes in a palm forest that fades into the distance. The location is the most you could wish for to feel the desert. The host is exceptional, very friendly and helpful, the location is very clean, which is hard to get in Morocco. Breakfast is good and you can discuss what you want extra or other meals. Internet is good.

This was our favorite stay in all of Marocco! The location next to sand dunes and palmtrees is just magnificent! The host took such good care of us it was wonderful. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and have a wide window to nature! But still the room is very private! The food that was served for diner was just amazing!! Real authentic Maroccan cuisine! Definitly a unique place to stay!!

Just outside M’Hammid you can find this sharmy little resort ! Moshin is a great host, very helpfully, and he created this beautiful auberge with a great and young taste mixing a contemporary design with the Sahara traditional style. everything is new and well curated. 4 little bungalows, spacious with private bathroom. the view from our room was amazing: a big window opened on the dunes. the resort is located just beside the little beautiful dunes of M’Hammid where you can see amazing sunsets and sunrises. everything is extremely quite, because you are lost in the beautiful authentic village’s surrounding where the local life follows the slow rhythms. you can parl your car just beside the camp and it’s very easy to rich the village or the resort. the common area is furnished with beautiful taste as the other rooms. Moshin cooks very good dishes for dinner (better to notice to him before) and the breakfast was delicious. Moshin is a great host, with young and fresh ideas, very helpful and he helper us to planning the excursion in the Sahara (1night in the Sahara, a camel ride on the sunset uo to Erg Chegaga which is AMAZING and transfer by 4x4 with a beautiful lunch in the oasi) this is an unforgettable excursion. you can leave your car safely in the Moshin’s place and after 2hours be in the desert. remember : M’Hammid is 47 km far from the big dunes, so you need for sure to plan a 4x4 transfer. i suggest Moshin place as a real beautiful place where to stay in the edge of Sahara. and i wish to Moshin to go ahead with this beautiful and modern approach to his place!!!!

Hot water comes from a log burning boiler so is not 'instsnt' and you therefore need to time showers carefully. That said the camp is designed to be self-sufficient with minimum carbon footprint, so this is a very minor dislike.

Mohsin and his small team were so welcoming and provided excellent breakfasts and dinners (dinners were extra €15pp). Ensuite room was comfortable and spacious although a little cold at the time we went in late December. The best part of the stay was the desert trip that Mohsin organised which included a visit to a Bedouin camp, cooked lunch at an oasis and camel rides at Erg Chigaga dunes. Overall this is a fantastic camp with a really friendly atmosphere. Thanks Mohsin and Rashid.

Exceptional location, if you want to stay away from crowd, it is the perfect place! Clean, cosy room - a little bungalow is waiting for you with the kindest host ever. Breakfast and dinner were delightful - made extra for us according to our wishes. The owner, Mohsin is happy to fulfill his guests wishes. Whenever in Mhamid again, we will come back here for sure!!! Love this place forever!
