The camp itself is in amazing location, with unforgettable scenery of desert and a variety of activities. Mohamed was very friendly and assisting during our stay. I would like to thank our tour guide kassim he was a very lovely and extremely funny person. Told us all about important spots around the area and he helped me take a lot of pictures and create some unforgettable memories. The camp offers sandboarding which I recommend for the travellers to try it out. Make sure you sit outside in the middle of the night to enjoy the stars.

Breakfast and dinner are included are good.Lunch is available at extra cost. The tents are amazing, and staff super nice ,special thanks to Ibrahim ,the manager of the camp,he is really very patient and helpful with an open mind that you can discuss many things about morocco and berber life with him.and camel ride during sunrise was amazing, the weather in the morning was so nice and we feel much more comfortable in the morning than afternoon, totally recommend it.

Transfer from and to the camp was not included, but we agreed before and we thought it’s worthy.cleanliness should be improved as we saw there was sand on the carpet in the tent.but it’s not big issue, the whole experience was great

We had an unforgettable stay at this luxury desert camp. The location is perfect—right in the middle of the desert, offering stunning views all around. Our tent was spacious and very comfortable, providing both authenticity and comfort. The camel ride to watch the sunset was absolutely magical, and the morning quad ride added a real sense of adventure. What truly made the experience exceptional was Mohammed and his amazing staff. They were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the camp. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the desert!

Everything so nice but the people amazing! I will miss them! Everything organised. They took care about everything, even about the taxi from Merzouga to Fes (like a 7 hour trip) with collective taxi and a really good price.

I cannot say enough good things about Merzouga Luxury Camp. We booked at the very last minute, and within 10 minutes got a call from the property checking to see what time we were going to arrive so they could make sure the driver was in the parking to take us to watching the sunset . We got there not knowing what to expect and were blown away. The camp is in the desert far from the city and has good facilities for one night in the desert. there is wifi, flushing toilets and showers in the tent. We got there just 10minutes before sunset and watch the sun go down, what a beautiful experience !Dinner was served in courses in the impeccable dining tent, and was good as well. Mohammad treated us like family and all of the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We would end up talking with everyone after the music around the fire ended in the evenings, just watching the stars, and soaking in the magic of the desert. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and now I want to bring my whole family back next year!

    Nothing,we liked everything!

Where do I begin???Mohamed, the owner of the Merzouga luxury camp, his brothers and his team where AMAZING! Super friendly, very polite, always eager to help, respectful! If it wasn't for them it wouldn't have been the same! The camp is very safe and far from the town. The tents were spacious, clean. Undoubtedly, i would go back again and again.

I would prefer if there was an air-condition inside each tent. Even though there was a fan and it wasn't bad.

Extremely friendly and laid back staff, you kind of have to go with the flow which suited me fine. It's a luxury camp not a hotel, but perfect for one night in the desert. Dinner was tasty and breakfast was basic but sufficient. I went on a last minute quad bike tour , Fully recommended, especially w ith a beautiful sunset! Mohamed was easily reachable by whatsapp and the pick up from the parking to camp was easy to arrange.

It didn't bother me, but it's a go with the flow kind of place. You need to be prepared to be flexible with your timings, especially in the morning for transport back to the parking , but just chill and enjoy.

A big thank you to the two Brothers Mohamed and Youssef and the rest of the staff, who were extremely genuine and accomodating, going out of their way to make our stay the best possible experience. The included breakfast and dinner were excellent. There are a lot of activities that, at least in August , didn't need in advance booking. Ski and sandboard are available for free. We especially recommend the day tour (nomad settlement, oasis, fossils, flamingo lake, camels, Senegalese town, great views along the way) with the staff and renting quads to enjoy sunset from the dunes in the afternoon.

As expected, the credit card didn't work, bring cash or ask about other online payment in advance to be on the safe side...

    Just the location

We have booked 2 night in the Merzouga Luxury Camp. Since booking this stay, for any question I had I had to write a reminder on Booking in order to get a reply. At that time it was making me feel a bit uncomfortable but I assumed the people handling the communication were just busy with the tourists and didn’t check the app frequent enough in order to see the messages. Apparently that wasn’t the case as communication has proven to be a major issue with this provider. After arriving at the meeting point, we were told about the extra activities. We have chosen all the offered activities- ride by camels to the camp, jeep at sunrise, jeep trip in the desert, quads and return by jeep at departure. We had paid 600eur for 3 persons for all the activities, which is surely not cheap. During the dinner in the first evening, one of the staff asked us about the next days activities. He said we would be picked up be the jeep early in the morning for sunrise. Afterwards, around midnight, the guy came to our tent waking us up and saying ‘the boss said you didn’t pay for the sunrise trip and it would cost an additional 20eur/pers’. We uselessly tried to debate, but in the end had to accept paying an extra 60eur for this activity. Second activity- jeep tour in the dessert. We were told it would take 3.5-4hrs and after we would be taken to a pool. Actually the tour lasted a bit less than 3 hours and at noon time we were dropped by the driver to a pool in Merzouga. When asking him about the pick up time he said ‘I don’t know, the boss knows what will be the best time for you and he will send a car to take you’. So we ended up waiting for 5-6 hours at the pool for someone to come and collect us. At around 6PM, after hours of waiting, we started writing to ‘the boss’ both on Booking and on WhatsApp to ask him about the pick up time. He eventually replied saying that is too hot and the car will come for us in 30 mins.

Great location, top service and very hospitable owner and personnel. "Tent" is not comfortable like a hotel room ,but it’s really good enough for one night in the middle of the desert. Great dinner and average breakfast(both included in the price). Went on a 2.5-hrs afternoon 4WD tour which was flawlessly organised by the camp to start as we arrived. Very nice guide/driver,(Salam?)To top it all off, they surprised me with a birthday cake, as somehow they found out it was my birthday. How sweet is that? Highly recommended!

Nothing, but a kind suggestion one night is enough in the desert during summer ,cause you can’t endure the heat at daytime

Friendly and very helpful staff, hospitality was superb. Desert location was amazing with very well organised transfer to camp. The sunrise camel trip out into the desert was a particular highlight and something none of us will ever forget. The breakfasts and evening meals in the desert were excellent. Overall a highly recommended experience.

We would recommend more fruit options at breakfast would be a great addition.

Mohammed was wonderful, he was very responsive to messages before we arrived and super welcoming upon arrival. All the staff are lovely, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The journey out by camel was stunning, a little uncomfortable toward the end but worth it. The location is exquisite, it feels like a dream, the dunes are so beautiful. Our tents were comfortable and clean, the food was great too. Mohammed arranged a birthday cake as a surprise for me and they all sang Happy Birthday under the stars - it was fabulous. We travelled in late July, so it was very hot - I loved it, but my 7 year old found it a bit hard going. Mohammed arranged for us to spend half a day at a local hotel with a pool - my children really appreciated it. The sunrise jeep ride was gorgeous, we went out just as a family with a driver. The quad bikes at sunset were fantastic too. I never wanted to leave, everything was perfect and we will definitely go back one day.

    Nothing, we loved everything.
