Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyGreat location, we stayed in the private room (it’s massive) which has its own balcony and was really nice all in all. The view was simply breathtaking. The only issues were that the shower water was ice cold, and at the time we were visiting it was early March, which means it gets very cold at night, and we didn’t have enough blankets, and there was no one around to ask for more. There were also no towels provided. We only stayed one night and arrived rather late, so we felt bad to try and get in touch for these things in the late hours. It’s a hostel so it can get quite noisy, but you can make yourself tea in the kitchen and take it easy in general, which was nice.

BelgiumAs a couple you need to be aware of the shared spaces (we did know in advance) but our room was next to the chill spot and it could get very noisy. (Up until 2/3 o’clock clock ://) As a tip I would recommend to invest in better pillows :)
There was a very family friendly atmosphere but also a very cute small kitten. The location was great but take in mind that you need to go up a little bit and it’s steep :) The breakfast was soooooo good and cheap!! :)

FranceWhat to expect: • No reception or welcome upon arrival or departure. • Lots of noise until 1 a.m. (even from a room far from the common areas). • A hostel manager, Jawad, who constantly invites his friends over during the day and evening. His friends are loud, shouting and taking up a lot of space. • Poor sound insulation between rooms, be prepared to get woken up if the neighboring room is chatting. • Spaces that, although cleaned daily, still remain very dirty, especially the bathrooms. • We were not given the room we had selected when making the reservation. This is not my first time staying at a hostel in Taghazout, and for the same price range, you can find places 1000 times better elsewhere in the village
