How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We have a 3 year old that is quite adventurous and likes to climb, so we felt like we needed to keep the windows shut so she would not climb out and fall, same with the balcony door. This shouldn't be a problem for older kids/adults.
Our host was very accommodating and willing to help - when the fridge didn't immediately turn on in one apartment he moved us to another. There were 2 softer twin mattresses and 1 harder twin/queen, so options for different preferences with the bed softness. The apartment was very clean, and our host was not upset when our 3 year old broke a bowl.

The location Is Half way between the beach and the center. The apartment was very Nice and Had a huge terrace in front. We were also well received by the host that gave us some useful tips.

The Apartment was so nice - it was spacious, super Clean and very well equipped. The Location ist perfectly located in the Center of Mirleft and the rooftop is stunning to watch the Stars. Ibrahim was such a nice host-thank you and See you again!

I had a wonderful stay at these apartments! The apartments are spacious and perfect for relaxation. They are conveniently located near the beach, and I loved having the option to cook my own meals in the apartment. Being situated on the main street, there are plenty of great establishments nearby, including a fantastic bakery. The owner of the apartments is also very kind and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend these apartments for a great stay!

The internet connection can be difficult at times especially if you're catching up on work while trying to download files from your company's server. You'll be struggling quite a bit to get it to your PC.
Nice staying at Mirleft Trip with well disposed hosts and always available for ANY service you may have. Mirleft is close to good surf spots in the area not very crowded and if waves are big, it's still a nice village to go out for a running session. Food is exquisite and not expensive. Transportation is always around and not expensive as well.

Everything was fine in my view..
Nice well equipped apartment including tv. Lounge with kitchen 2 bedrooms good bathroom with walk in shower.. Light clean..cosy and Private..good Internet... Very friendly helpful/ host.. Good terrace on the roof. With tables chairs. Clothes hanging. In a good location.. Walk to the souk..and Beaches.. cafes and restaurants just outside.. Local transport nearby...

The atmosphere was warm, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the facilities well-maintained. The dorms were clean, the common areas inviting, and the communal kitchen well-equipped. The central location made exploring the city a breeze. For a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on comfort. I'll be back for sure!

Upon our arrival the host was so welcoming, kind and friendly to interact with. He made us feel happy to be in Mirleft. The apartment was very clean and spacious and we especially loved the view for the main street. The terrace was beautiful for eating breakfast in the sun and the location was close to the town center. We loved staying here. Thank you for the nice time and stay.

The location was perfect within walking distance to the market, restaurants and awesome beach. The large apartment was very clean and with a well equipped kitchen. The terrace provided a place for relaxing and barbecuing. The owner was friendly and was prompt in answering your needs.
