So i want to be honest and say that i give this 10 because i felt good there and that i would also want to support this home to grow and continue to serve us travellers as well. For me the roof can definitely be more chill and welcoming. Needs more shade, more lockers. The toilet was kind of weirdly shaped and not comfortable

The owner of the place is a traveller himself. He was very welcoming and friendly. They had tea for the guest when you arrive. They serve a nice light breakfast. Also the view is incredible. You see all four sides of Tetuoan. Very homie vibes, good wifi.

I had wonderful stay at Casa Marwan. It feels like home away from home. The place is super cozy and I felt welcomed and comfortable from the start. Like one big family. The vibe makes it really easy to settle and relax. Evrything was clean and the team was flexible and always around if needed for help. You can feel there's a lot of love behind how it's all run. Breakfast was great and the terrace views are spectacular. If you do not have any plans in Tetouan yet, the team will give you all the local recommendations and acitivities to do, just ask😇! Also wifi was working smoothly, so I was able to do some computer work during my stay. Thank you to the whole team there. It was lovely experience - would 100 % recommend it to anyone visiting Tetouan! ☀️

There are limited hours when they allow guests to use the kitchen, between 12-6 PM. This is a problem for me because I wake up early and start working online at 8AM, so I want to prepare breakfast at 6:30-7 AM. Marwan allowed me to use the kitchen early in the morning as an exception, but said that if I stay there again I'll have to follow that rule. That's why I won't stay there again. The included breakfast is served starting 9 AM, which again is too late for me. The place is a bit hard to find using Google Maps. But the neighbours already know the issue, and when they see you lost near the point where Google Maps leads you to, they take you to the entrance. Marwan sends a video showing the way from Bab Okla to the hostel, but coming from the bus station the nearest gate is Bab Rmouz, so that video wasn't very helpful.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Marwan welcomes every new guest with tea. :) The location is very central in the old Medina, very close to the market, and most interest points in Tetouan are within walking distance. The roof has an amazing 360 degrees view of the city. If you wake up early you can see the sunrise. (Picture included!) The terrace has a dining table and couches, and there are more tables and chairs on the roof. There are several electric sockets on both the roof and the terrace. Wi-Fi is good and it's comfortable to work on the computer on either the roof or the terrace. Breakfast is included in the price, and it includes amlou, honey, mint tea and fried eggs. The kitchen is well equipped. There are lockers in the dorm, and electric sockets near each bed.

Perhaps the only negative is it can be difficult to find, and there's no sign outside...or leading to it! I first went last year and they had to send a search party out for me as I was hopelessly lost and couldn't follow Marwan's video! I think it's and age thing though.. 🤣

I've stayed here before and Marwan is an excellent genial host! It's difficult to pick any real faults with the place(imo) and he and the staff helping there try to do everything to make you as happy and comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. Good filling breakfast, and the views from the terrace are to die for! 😍 I can't see how people can give this place a bad review...unless they're EXTREMELY picky people! I don't think you'll be disappointed...

Fairly new hostel started by a traveller. Marouane has travelled himself and understands what backpackers are looking for. He has plans to extend the hostel and improve the facilities. The dorm is spacious with lockers. The breakfast was good .

All the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views across the mountains. Breakfast is made with care and is plentiful.
