As previous comments suggested, Wifi is poor, gets disconnected often. Location of Riad is OK, within the old medina.

Owners were friendly and helpful. Good communication. When you arrive you will pass through alleys, and experience the reality of people still living in the old part of the medina. Riad inside decoration is beautiful.

There is a mosque next door that can be loud at times, but all part of moroccos charm. (PS Keep in mind that some doors of the souks close around 10pm! We got caught out coming home and it was hard to find a way out.)

Lovely staff who were always very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is in the Medina but approx a 25 min walk to the square, we found it nice to be a bit further out and explore a different part of the city. A little haven to come home to away from the hustle bustle of the Medina. The rooftop area is very beautiful and peaceful, and there are nice tables to sit at outside each room

Not a single thing.

This is a beautiful Riad in the Medina (Old Town). It is in a quiet lane away from most of the main attractions but easily walkable. Marrakech is very safe as well. The hosts Youssef and Barbara were very helpful with information prior to our visit and I would recommend booking a taxi through them to get to the Riad. The rooms are compact but more than enough room for a short stay with a great bathroom and shower. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels. There is plenty of seating in each floor and a nice rooftop terrace. The biggest compliment is I couldn't fault anything.

Just to be aware the property is in a residential area which is a little more conservative,was about 5 minute walk to an ATM and about 15 minute walk to the main square which was fine for me. Might be better to get a taxi back if you are staying out at night rather than walking.

The property is stunning and immaculate,the owners here are really lovely and friendly,they also have a really cute sleepy puppy. The room was really comfortable and everything is so clean beautiful. Breakfast was served on the terrace which was lovley,the coffee was so nice. The owners are really helpfull too and were happy for me to keep my luggage there after I checked out and helped arrange a taxi to the airport for me.

Would 100% recommend. Host Youseff was amazing, welcoming and helping us with everything. From serving beautiful breakfasts on the roof terrace, to ordering us cabs when we needed it most - always with a smile! Great typical riad in the heart of Marrakesh on a calm back alley. Easy and walkable everywhere in the city.

Everything! It's quite simply, Incredible. Youssef was like a brother to me, someone who helped me from the moment I arrived. Both Barbara and Yousseff worked so hard to make sure that every little detail was taken care of so that I could simply enjoy the delights of the Riad and Marrakech. Also, the breakfast - Wow!!! There's nothing not to like..

What an amazing place! So beautifully decorated. Extremely clean and comfortable. Down a quiet alley in a local neighborhood. In the Medina and walkable to the heart of the city and shops. Youssef, Barbara and the staff are very attentive. The place is an oasis. 🙂🙂🙂

My stay at Dar Barbi was absolutely fantastic. The staff, especially the owner, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Our stay at this Riad was nothing short of perfect. The place is even more stunning in person, with a truly charming and cozy ambiance. Everything was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was outstanding, leaving absolutely nothing to be desired. The location is ideal – everything is within walking distance, making it the perfect base to explore Marrakech. The host was one of the best we’ve ever encountered. Super friendly, welcoming, and warm, he made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble; he was always ready to help with anything we needed. We were celebrating a birthday during our stay, and to our surprise, they even prepared a small cake for us – such a thoughtful touch! Honestly, I cannot recommend this Riad enough. It was an exceptional experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Marrakech. Thank you again for everything!

The riad is conveniently located in a quiet  street of the medina, close to the centre but away from the crowd and the noise. It is beautiful, very clean, and very comfortable room. Youssef and Barbara are so kind and attentive and go out of their way to make your stay "the perfect stay" and make you feel at home. They helped me on every question I had from getting a local sim card to tips to visit Marrakech. They serve a delicious breakfast, all freshly made. I also had dinner at the riad, deliciously home cooked meal. Highly recommended.
