bad lighting in the room, cold room, no cleaning service, didn’t have sandals for the room

Good location, accessible by car, nice staff, clean room and comfortable beds. There’s a pool table and a cozy bar inside the hotel.

Great place to stay for a cheap night in Fes

The only issue we came across was the poor pressure in the shower - but it wasn't a big deal, and was to be expected as the rooms were incredibly cheap.

Great location right in the centre of Fes. Had all the entertainment we were after for a single night ie a swimming pool, snooker table, TV, bar, etc. and the staff were incredibly accommodating.

For the location and convenience along with staff and amenities is what made our stay wonderful.

Everything was clean, but nothing was new. It was really built and feels dated. The toiletries were just okay and the breakfast was average. We had to book two rooms for accomodating our 14 year old, wished they had something larger where we could have stayed as a family.

It was very good for the value. The hotel is older, so it is not modern in many ways. It has a pool and all the amenities, but what is the most valuable for us was the convenience. It is so close to the Blue gate of the medina and you are still not inside the medina if you are worried about carrying luggage and so on.

Central colonial style hotel with pretty courtyard, bar and big pool

The room was not very homely, relatively loud due to street noise and the floor was cold due to the tiles.

The central courtyard has nice blue walls and a mosaiqued floor. Here the bar is located which offers a great atmosphere for an evening cocktail. A side courtyard houses the big pool which can be used for a good swim. The Hotel is located in the old town of Fès near the Batha riundabout and not far from Bab Bou Jeloud.

Location: great. Close to everything on the edge of the medina and a short walk to the beautiful shady gardens of Inane Sbil. Room: very comfortable and practical, Tiled, en suite, Air conditioning, well-maintained and kept very clean each day. Breakfast is optional. I had breakfast on the terrace the first morning and it was very plentiful and tasty. :-) The biggest bonus is having a the very refreshing swimming pool in the peaceful grounds of the hotel, a pause away from the hubhub of medina life - especially when the temperatures are well into their thirties! And the staff at Hotel Batha are wonderfully welcoming and helpful.

A clean, comfortable, relaxed, friendly, happy place - a few steps away from the heart of the medina

Nothing could have been much better than it was. The new bars have livened things up. And this creates a fun place to enjoy the evening and have a drink. For me personally, I preferred the quieter times when it was just an interior garden. But this is a matter of preference, of course, and for younger people I'm sure this is an attraction. But there's nothing that I didn't like.

I last stayed at Hotel Batha 9 years previously and had good memories of my stay. To my delight the staff at reception actually remembered me and welcomed me very warmly. They were consistently helpful and friendly throughout my stay - which I extended from 5 to 8 days. The hotel has been refurbished but retains its character and the rooms are en suite and comfortable. A good breakfast is available but extra on the terrace where you can sit quietly to enjoy it. Or you can choose to head across the busy square or into the medina for a cafe breakfast and watch the world go by. The hotel is in a great location literally on the edges of the medina and a short walk from the Inane Sbil Gardens where there are trees and peace and quiet. For me, one of the wonderful assets to the hotel is the swimming pool - so much appreciated when temperatures are soaring int o the thirties ... a cool swim (or 2 or 3 :) and a little quiet relaxation. Some of the rooms have a great view over the activity in the square - which is fascinating but can be a little noisy when warm evenings bring everyone out of doors at night fall. But if you like lively then there is plenty going on. Again, the music at the bar inside the hotel can be relaxing but personally, as a light sleeper, I wouldn't want a room too near it in the evening. Generally, Hotel Batha is a relaxed, friendly, happy place - and only a few steps away from the heart of the magical medina. And I want to thank the staff for making my stay so welcoming and pleasant.

Location is great and an easy walk to the medina. The people on the front desk are wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Car parking was easy in the street next to the hotel, with a guard to look after the car.

Nothing to mention, I was happy with my stay.

I booked the room last minute and it was great. The bed was comfortable, clean and great shower also (which is a big deal for me). The staff were polite and welcoming (shout out to Tamar)! Also they were able to print out my boarding pass which was really helpful! I would definitely stay again.

Renovation needed. Actually renovation is on going.

We really appreciated that we got an early check in and we could use hotel amenities (pool, bar etc) after check out. Excellent location, just a few steps away from medina. Easy to find and access by taxi (believe this is not common for hotels / riads in the medina. Hotel manager and staff did the most for us.

    Bathroom could use some renovation

Perfect location, right next to the most famous streets of the Medina. We had a very good time in the swimming pool The receptionist was super nice and helpful, they booked a taxi to the airport for us and even anticipated the breakfast time to give us enough time. There is parking space on the street reserved to the hotel (we paid 20 dirham). Although in a central position, it was not too noisy at night and could sleep well. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean.
