How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewFabulous accommodation... one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Pool and pool area lovely, with very good folk on hand toctake food and drink orders. Restaurant also brilliant, with lovely food. Treated ourselves to a Hammam too, which was very relaxing and in a lovely space.
Nothing really we didn't like, but just be aware that it is a short taxi ride to town (c£5). But area around Riad nice with a mall next door with ATM and supermarket, and also some other cafes and bars within walking distance.

Verified reviewThe staff was very pleasant, the room was nice and clean, the grounds and the pool were well maintained, breakfast was tasty, Apparently the hotel is a spin off of a well known restaurant- it's not too far from the airport, which is why we choose it- on the flip side it gets a bit noisy out at the pool, periodically because of jet engines.

Verified reviewEverything was lovely. The staff was exceptionally helpful, always there on hand for whatever was required. Always with a smile. Even though I had booked Deluxe Double they gave me the option to either have an upstairs room or the ground floor. Due to health issues I had opted for downstairs. This did not disappoint! I had a lovely room with winding stairway leading up to a terrace. It was so beautiful. My little own peace haven. Love the quietness. This was truly a family atmosphere.
Very little I didn’t like. I think a little more information on the spa. I was misinformed that there was only a Hammam when in fact I could have gotten a leg massage or head only. But I think this was due to the language barrier. I also feel that there could be a few other options on the food menu I.e.. lunch, as you can get bored with the same food even it is very well cooked and tasty. A small bottle of water provided in each room would be great also.

Verified reviewA very quiet and relaxing boutique hotel few minutes away from the Medina (5 minutes by taxi). The staff is nice, polite, and very attentive to your needs. Stylish, immaculate interiors, wonderful swimming pool and SPA. Everything is well curated. Highly recommend the restaurant - amazing food in a dreamy location with tables in the terrace and in the organize trees garden. Definitely recommend if you are looking for very well-maintained hotel to relax and disconnect but also easy to reach from the city center. Bravo!

Verified reviewAl Fassia Aguedal, is one of the warmest and most friendly hotels we have ever visited, and we travel a lot. The manager and the entire staff go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was always delicious and well presented. The restaurant is one of the best in Morocco and for good reason too, the food and the staff were excellent. The facilities are maintained to a high standard and the entire place had a real Moroccan feel about it. The Hammam and massage were great too.

Verified review- 10min drive to Medina - beautiful small oasis brings tradition and modern comfort together - excusit marocan cusine, try 12 marocoan salats and lamb shoulder - warm staff to give you home.feelings - helped us with henna appointment, shopping tips, and organised tours - Thank you Al Fassia for a great three-day private tour to Sahara with Redouan. His storytelling skills about history, architecture, and marocan life were extraordinary. Our daughter missed his smile and attention the moment we left his car. Verified reviewWonderful hotel, with probably one of the best staff ever - friendly, always helpful, a smile on their faces. The hotel, accommodation, restaurant - everything - was excellent quality. The pool was lovely and felt very serene. All in all, one of the best places to stay in Marrakesh i think. Close enough to the Medina for it to be easy to do the full Marrakesh experience, while being out of the hubbub of the centre.

Breakfast was excellent and we ate 7 nights running- delicious meals. I wish I could remember every name but suffice to say all the staff couldn’t have been more delightful. Imad today was waiter, pool helper , firemaker and luggage carrier- excellent- thank you.
